Jeep AX15 5 Speed Transmission Master Bearing Kit, BK163JWS Plus More!

The quality of the parts is fine. New 5th gear synchro ring didn’t fit on gear hub correctly - it locked up transmission. After four or five disassemblies I reused the old synchro and everything works, but fifth obviously needed a new synchro.Package said it contained an improved 5th synchro but this won’t fit original gear hub I guess.I contacted seller asking about a different synchro and never heard back. So ~5000 miles later: I’d give the kit 5-stars if 5th gear synchro fit.

Parts and pieces seem to be of good quality. Mix of NSK, Timkin, and unmarked bearings, mostly NSK. Synchro King Synchros with the updated 5th gear synchro. Had several seals that weren't used in the rebuild, possibly for the AX5? Overall happy with the set as long as it holds up.

All what is advertised is there. Delivery on my part was screwed up but a call to customer service was unbelievable. Ordered a clutch kit as well an cs contacted ups directly an immediate problem solved! I wish regular stores treated me this way. Will be back for more. Like they say Jeep stands for just empty every pocket!!!!!

Get what you pay for, very poor quality. Scynros not usable at all for my rebuild, and after seeing the condition of those parts, can not trust the quality of the sealed bearings included with the kit and had to reorder a different master kit from somewhere else. Really good price on the kit, but no way would I trust the quality of the parts if you're doing a rebuild on your transmission. Contacted seller the same day I received the kit and have not had any response. Keep looking for a better kit.
