4 port USB-C 3.2 Gen Splitter Hub
I purchased this splitter hub to connect to my Macbook 16" laptop - M1 Pro. It will also work on Windows based computers with USB-C connectionsMy Mac uses Thunderbolt connections (USB-C compatible) which transfer data at 40 gbps but Thunderbolt hubs are expensive at around £130 to £300, depending on spec and manufacturer, so I opted for a slower data transmission speed with the Ugreen splitter, which transfers data at up to 10 gbps (depending on the specification of your PC/Laptop) which is plenty for my needs. In use, I can't really tell the difference in transfer speeds but I am talking about home use and not commercial or business usage where demands for speed and power may be more criticalThe Ugreen hub is lightweight, finished in matt silver-grey on an aluminium case, and has a short 24cms (just under 10") tethered cable with a USB-C plug to connect to my laptop. The hub will fit easily into a pocket or laptop caseThe hub worked straight out of the box with no setting up procedures or installation issues - just plug in and go!Reading other reviews, I think it is important to note that this Ugreen hub has no facility for charging other devices and does not have any outlets (HDMI, USB-A, SD card slots etc) other than the 4 x USB-C ports. I use it purely to backup data onto 3 xSSD external hard drives, which it does just fine.At £20.99 with next day Prime delivery, I am very happy with my purchase. Recommended

Wish I'd got a powered one
This does what it says on the tin, but... it won't drive anything that requires power from the device itself, so bare that in mid when you purchase it. The usual high quality and great price point from UGreen.

Check the device loads
Works exactly as promised. Do not overload theHub or you will get some performance issues

Works but cannot be daisy chained
Does what it's supposed too but cannot be daisy chained. Bought a second one to daisy chain for more SSDs but didn't work.

UGreen for the win!
I've become a huge fan of Ugreen. It's 'Apple' quality and a fraction of the price. I use this hub for connecting two Thunderbolt Crucial X10 Pro Portable SSD's to my Macbook M3 Pro. One I use as a TimeMachine for backups, and the other is a Media backup for my edits. Both work incredibly fast through this hub.

Fast and easy, the case isnt flat though
A nice easy hub to install and use with plug and play tech that just works at great speeds as advertised. One thing to be wary of if you are planning to use adhesive patches to attach to the underside of a table or shelf is that these are not flat cases, its curved which will give some difficulty in mounting. Doesn't bother me but its an odd choice because its more practical and easier to manufacture flat. Still a good unit for the money and well worth recommendation
