NOAM NUTV5-S - ATV/Golf Cart/UTV Waterproof Speakers Bluetooth 2.1 Marine Stereo System

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this system for my 2016 Cfmoto Zforce 800 Ex. I wanted a good sound system that I didn't have to piece together and that had good reviews. After seeing the great reviews on the HUTV-4 system I stumbled across this new system. I chose it for the subwoofer and the new and smaller interface. The first thing I noticed while unboxing the unit was that the packaging had a premium feel to it and it came with uncomplicated but still detailed instructions. All the hardware and wires were good quality and other than two battery post connectors and some larger heat shrink, it came with everything I needed, plenty of wire to run beneath the body panels for a clean install and lots of different size rubber spacers for different size role cage bars. I was able to install the unit in a couple of hours, taking my time to insure a clean and professional quality installation.Setting up the bluetooth was simple and after riding over 100 miles in cold, rainy and muddy condtions, I can say the system worked flawlessly. It never once lost connection, overheated, or skipped a beat. It was easy to operate while driving and sounds great even when soaking wet and covered in mud.When I first heard the system I was a little disappointed because I was expecting more base at lower volume. However, when on the move with lould engine noise, the system easlily overpowered the noise with crisp and clear sound. I could easily see that more base at low volumes would distort at the levels needed to hear above a high revving engine. So don’t let this deter you, for the size, ease of use and toughness of this system, the sound and base are perfect.In conclusion, I am very happy with my purchase and the quality of the system. The manufacturer is easy to contact for any questions about their products and seems very passionate about putting out a great product they are proud of. Modifying and upgrading UTV's, boats and SUV's is part of the fun of ownership, NOAM has made it even more fun with a great kit and fulfilling results. Now if, I can find two smaller Noam speakers to mount on my front roll cage bars...Note. I did have to modify the bracket of the subwoofer in order to mount it horizontal rather than vertical, which was dictated by the location i wanted to mount it and the direction my roll bar ran. I did this by carefully drilling two new holes on the removable mounting plate on the subwoofer and then reattaching the roll bar mount, now 90 degrees turned from the original. I noted this to the manufacturer and they may address this in the future.Music for demonstration onlySimple Man by Lynard Skynrd

Like many of you, I've been researching sound systems like crazy because spending between 4 and 9 hundred bucks on a system is a huge gamble without being able to hear it before purchasing it. I'll start with the install: I have a Honda P1k-5, so I installed the sub on the mid roll bar and the speakers on the back cage. Use the largest insert that comes with the unit and all components will fit snugly. The sub is super clean in the middle and does not get in the way unless you have a center mirror installed. I wired all three components up the passenger side - the far speaker was about 8 inches shorter than needed to just run it all through the front right fender so we cut a small hole in the glove box and pulled the cup holder to utilize the space available and to shorten the distance from the battery to the speaker wire. This turned out to work out well and we put the amp in the glove box (I'm heading to the store tomorrow to buy velcro to keep it in place). A few zip ties along the roll cage and it was clean and looked sharp. The Amp wire harness has inputs for two additional speakers, but believe me when I tell you that you won't need them. I simply wired and zip tied the remote to the center of the front roll cage because my wife is going to want to be able to mess with the tunes when we hit the trail.Now the sound: This is a loud unit with awesome clarity. The speakers actually swivel, so if you're parked and you want to just party you can just turn them in the direction you want to hear them. The 8 inch sub provides some actual boom that the sound bars seem to be missing; bare in mind it is only an 8 inch sub, so it isn't like the 15 incher you put in your Honda Civic in highschool that rattled the windows. A note to folks using their phones to bluetooth in; both the Android and Iphone have an EQ option to manage the sound settings and it will make a difference in sound depending on what kind of music you're listening to.For the price, this was way more than I was hoping for. Absolutely rocks.

My wife and I decided to take a shot at these NOAM 5 speakers with the sub. We had looked at countless options and done tons of research. Finally, we made the decision to purchase these.Upon receipt of them, I could quickly tell there was quality behind the product. I’ve paid 2 or 3 times this amount for other products and not received something so well packaged. Boxes were high quality and each speaker was in a nice cotton type bag and wrapped tight. While this may sound insignificant to some, we were highly impressed. I unboxed entire system and hung it where we felt it would be best on our 2018 rzr xp4 turbo. I wired everything together to get a test run before actually running wires in hidden locations etc. WOW is all I can say. This thing is so loud! We were at some of the reviews which said the sub woofer didn’t seem to do much but let me tell you play the two speakers alone and then add the sub and you will be able to tell it makes a pretty significant difference.We were quickly sold on the product. The clarity is great at all levels and with all types of music. We played rock, country, rap, heavy metal, you name it and this system performed flawlessly.I ran all the wires from the back of the machine, hiding them as I went. The one suggestion I would have is to add about 2’ to the sub wire as it came up short due to being mounted up higher than the 2 speakers. Not a hard fix, I’m running to Home Depot for some wire but I’d prefer to have all factory wiring in place.Overall, we were undecided for quite sometime because there are so many options and frankly not a lot of reviews on this particular system. I will tell you honestly though, if you are looking and have as hard of a time making a decision as my wife and I did, STOP here and buy this. You won’t be sorry, especially for the price you’re paying. You’ll be jamming as hard as those folks who spent $3K!We will add an update after our first ride and another after Pismo!!!
