Good soap, good smell
This is a decent substitute for the brilliant Fairy Green household soap bars that were inexplicably taken off the market a couple of decades ago. The scent of Ava pearl is not the same, but it's good, and may remind you of hotels in Europe.

Green goddess rather than a Fairy.
My mum used to always have a bar of Fairy laundry soap, which is no longer available. I bought Ava to deal with my son’s Nike white sock which were always dirty. Good results when hand washed with Ava then put in washing machine on usual cycle. I don’t think it’s quite as good as Fairy but not sure if I’m being nostalgic. Definitely works!

Laundry bar
Difficult to find laundry soap in a bar (I have found). This is a bar - not the best I have come across, but does the job well enough.

Almost as good as green Fairy soap 🧼
Nothing will be as good as old-style green Fairy soap. This comes close although it doesn’t last as long and has a stronger perfume. I also use to wash my dog - better than fancy dog shampoo and a good lather
