This was a plug and play on my 2016 Ram 1500, the correct wiring harness. Caution: make sure you order the mirrors that have the same features that are on your vehicle, ie: power adjust, heated, turn signals, puddle light, and some even have power fold. Driver side mirror was had a piece of the lens on the back broke. We super glued it together hopefully it stays.As far as the product itself. It’s great they fit perfect. They went on fairly easy. Made for a great Christmas gift for my husband. No more fighting while backing the camper into the spot.

They look great, paddle lights helped this morning hahaha, blinkers work but the smoked lens definitely dims the light a lot not a problem though, There is no memory feature (auto tilt in reverse). But there is the tow mode sensor (mirror controls correct orientation when flipped up). I asked about these two features and I got a response they don’t have either. They may wanna update listing to show it has the tow mode flip sensonAs far as install took under 10min to get old mirrors off. New mirrors went on easy, wish they gave a bit more length of wire, still fighting the door cards to get back on

This is the second pair of Tow mirrors I’ve had to purchase for my 2016 ram 1500. The first pair made by a different company. The glass was like Funhouse glass, absolutely garbage and the ambient air sensor quit working after only six months and that caused a check engine code to come up on the truck. I then got these mirrors. They were a bit more expensive and had turn signals so I thought I would splurge for a nicer set. Didn’t know I would have to pay $80 at the dealership after the fact to get them to program the truck to recognize the turn signals as my truck didn’t come factory with them. That’s not the point I want to make though. My first complaint is obviously the mirrors them self do not look very good. They are not clear, almost foggy looking. My second complaint. Is that before you install them at least for my truck you have to grind down the bolts on the mirror where it attaches to the door frame or else the bolts will scratch your paint and put a big dent in your door frame I of course didn’t know this and now have missing paint and a big dent in the frame which will rust eventually if I don’t get it covered up. And my last complaint, but certainly not the least of my worries (based on previous experience with other mirrors) is that the ambient air temperature sensor consistently reads 10° hotter than the actual ambient air temperature so I know it’s only a matter of time before this sensor destroys itself, and then I need to buy new mirrors again. in summary I would say just say spend the extra money and buy the OEM parts and you won’t have to continue replacing these things every year.

I recently got this for my 2016 Ram 1500 SLT. The mirrors were easy to instal but sadly the blinker nor the puddle light work. Although this fit great and look great the blinker don’t work sadly. But it is good for the price you pay cause it is good quality and looks great!!

No directions for the hardware installation though it did come with a pin-out diagram for the electrics. The gasket is not pre-installed, so you have to remove and reinstall the double ended screw posts to properly place the gasket under them. Alignment was excellent and total install time was <20 minutes (which includes the time to gather the tools for the job). I've not tested them with a trailer yet, but they are about 2" further out than the stock mirrors in the standard configuration and then when rotated, they add another 5" of angulation to that. Ordering another configuration for my Van.

Great value for the price. The tow mirrors are perfect. They are very sturdy and stable, no vibration. No issues. Bought for my 2016 Ram 1500. Very happy with this product.
