Quaker Corn Squares 375 g

If it’s not identical to crunchy corn bran, I can’t even tell because it’s been so long. Which is how I imagine most people will feel. It has the taste and texture I expected from memory, and I am really thankful I found this listing. I am fine paying the high price for exactly what I want, instead of pretending puffins or captain crunch got anywhere close.

I love this cereal. I’m so glad it’s still around. Sad that I have to pay so much and order it online since they don’t carry here in the US.

This is a great cereal that my wife remembers from her childhood, and we rediscovered it while driving through Canada on a motorhome trip on our way from Alaska to the "Lower 48". After not finding it in our local stores when we got home, I went online to Amazon and discovered it was no longer sold in the US. So I ordered a box for her as a surprise. A little pricey for what should just be a $5 box of cereal, but my wife appreciated it.

This cereal is good, however it is not identical to the "Crunchy Corn Bran" I loved when I was younger. And there is no way it is worth $15/box! It goes up a couple of dollars every time I order it. I think I will wait and see if Quaker will reintroduce the original Crunchy Corn Bran. No more Canadian cereal for me.

This is pretty good to eat. But, it is in no way a direct replacement for the original Quaker Crunchy Corn Bran. We used the original to make muffins that were to die for. This new cereal makes average muffins, but nothing to brag on.

The cereal box was completely smashed (could be a carrier issue except it came in a plastic bag, which provided no protection). The cereal tasted stale although the expiration date wasn't for 4 more months. When you pay almost $13 for a box of cereal, I guess you expect a little more. I bought this because it was a nostalgic cereal from my childhood, and it was really disappointing.

Crunchy, but not hard. Tasty but not too sweet. Great for cereal or snacking.
