If you've never used an epilator before and are wondering exactly what it feels like, here it is.This feels EXACTLY like what getting a tattoo feels like (sorry if you've never gotten a tattoo), it feels like tiny needles puncturing your skin. Particularly, what shading feels like, since it's a wider surface than what line work for a tattoo feels like.Think about all the places that are super sensitive - if you wouldn't get a tattoo on your armpit then I wouldn't advise going straight to the pits or the bikini line right off the bat with an epilator. Start on the thickest part of your forearm.If you imagine you're getting a tattoo while doing this it can actually help you get through the pain. For me, it's a 2/10 for places like the forearm and the top of the thigh/behind the calf. But going closer to the suuuper sensitive parts can get the pain up to a 7/10.This works really well, you need to go over areas about 5 times to get it completely smooth if you're pretty hairy, but it's worth it imo and its faster than you'd think!The last thing I will say is that it doesn't ALWAYS pull the hair from the root - if you're going too fast it can break the hair off close to the skin, so go slowly and work in sections as opposed to full length sweeps.I'm excited to use the trimmer and the callouse remover - it's a good price for the quality of the product, so go for it if your brave! :)

Superb battery life, lasts for hrs. Not painful as Emjoy has been in epilator & does the job to superior satisfaction. Got the arms, legs, nook & crannies, upper & lower lips, chin & neck. Hair free lasts super long, very sparse in hair growth after. I'm tremendously happy with this Hair remover. The epilator head it all.

It performs its function effectively; however, caution is advised as it easily cause cuts if used repeatedly on the same area. It pulled the skin even with minimal pressure, resulting in a small scar. I have since ceased using it.

I am a weenie about waxing, but thought I'd give this a try - effective (if uncomfortable)!Like I said, I'm not a waxer, so I'm not used to pulling hair, and I was pretty nervous about trying this. I will say that first use is the MOST uncomfortable, and for newbies like me, I would definitely recommend starting with legs or arms (NOT underarms) to get a feel for it, and don't be afraid to take multiple days to finish an area.I had to do multiple passes over several days to get all the hair in some areas anyway (I assume because I pretty much only shaved before). VERY light pressure, like barely touching, and SLOOOOOOOOW passes (sometimes just hanging out over one spot) got me the best results.If you haven't done anything but shaving in armpit/bikini area, start very slowly and only plan to do a little each day. You WILL have irritation, so doing the whole area in one go would be VERY uncomfortable (I did not do this because I am a weenie and also I like being able to sit with my legs together and arms down).A couple tips for newbies:-If you're worried about doing sensitive areas, try plucking a couple hairs with tweezers - this'll give you an idea of the pain/discomfort level for you-If you're having difficulty getting all the hair in one area even though you've been over it multiple times, try changing the direction. The leftover hairs sometimes are at a different growing angle (?) and this can make a difference.-Start SLOW. I totally get the impulse to get all the hair all at once but you will regret your life choices. Small area first in less sensitive area and then work your way up.

Love this. So easy yo use and gets the hair at the root. Be sure to not push it into you face. Just let it touch the skin. I use on my face and arms. It can be painful the first time you use. Once you get through the first time, very easy and no pain. Great ergonomic design!

Take some getting used to but it is amazing. Love not having to buy and buy wax.

I’m not super impressed. It doesn’t really work on fine hairs. It gets a few here and there, however, the ones that it does manage to get, basically the are just ripped at the skin. It doesn’t pull fine hairs from the root. The hair grew back in about. 2 days. Not worth the pain. It works okay on corse hair, but it doesn’t have anything that tightens the skin while pulling it. My armpit for example, it tends to pinch the skin A WHOLE LOT!! It’s tough to hold the device and hold the skin taut at the same time. It took about a week, maybe a little less for my coarse hair to grow back. I gave it 2 stars since I didn’t spend a whole lot of money on it. Pretty sure I can’t return it since it’s been used.

I almost never review things I buy online. But I had to get on here to mention how much I love this!! I’m a hairy girl and this hair remover has been such a game changer!!! Used it about a week ago on my chin and still no hair!!! Literally so happy!!
