As with many necessities, you probably already have a sense this is the product you want, and choose to get it online for price and/or convenience. Another advantage for some, is the ability to subscribe to the item, as you'll need more on a regular basis. It usually also allows for an even lower price, and serves as a reminder. The ability to cancel at any time makes it (yes, I'm saying it yet again) a no brainer.

This is the third time I bought this product and just installed it yesterday. I had difficulty in taking it off last two times though its hand tightened just enough to seal it. Even Fram's oil filter wrench didn't give grip to remove the oil filter. I had to use big pliers to take it off. When I had problem for the first time, I thought I over-tightened it and ensured to just hand tighten the second time. But its not case as I had same problem even for the second time.Its cheaper in Amazon than anywhere else. Also, the product was timely delivered.

I've been using these filters for several years on my 1998 Toyota Corolla LE. No problems ever with them. I'm able to easily remove them by hand without a wrench and hand tighten thanks to the grippy-texture on the bottom. I use these with Mobile 1 synthetic oil (which is probably overkill) and they've always worked great. The price is right, they're easy to remove and install, and it's a company with a good reputation.

Quality filter that does what it's supposed to.

i bought this filter from amazon because i was to lazy to go to walmart or any auto parts store because and i like to shop from amazon i do have a prime account and the filter was what i expected not to much to say about it i been using fram filters and happy with there performance. this was bought for a toyota yaris 2008.

My husband has used these for years. The friction coating on the bottom usually makes an oil filter wrench unnecessary. The Tough Guard is supposed to filter slightly better than the Extra Guard. I'm not sure it makes much difference if you're changing your oil every 5000 miles.

Perfect. I usually use the XG Ultra series but got these for a zero turn mower as the price was right.The external quality was superb- better than the Ultras. The end cap and internal metal parts were coated with a thin layer of oil to stop corrosion and the paint and grip section were the best I have ever seen. Amazing!

Fram High Mileage filters help keep my 10 year old car running smooth.My local Wal Mart has stopped carrying these so I am glad they are available here.Great product at a good price.

some fram filters do not get very good reviews. the tough guard seem to be 1 of the exceptions and it seems to do its job
