UPDATE: I purchased separately, a NEMA 14-50P to 6-20R. Problem was I rolled up to a charge location which was just a 240v receptacle at a hotel. The receptacle was the NEMA 14-50, like a dryer plug. The 20A plug on this charger is obviously not compatible, so I could not charge the car. Now, with the adapter, not only can I use 120v in a pinch, but also plug into the big receptacles that Tesla portable chargers use.I was specifically looking for a lower powered charger I could use on a 20A circuit. I was installing a dedicated 240 volt line, and did not want to have to deal with the much heavier cable required for 40 or 50 amp chargers. Those higher power level 2 chargers just are not necessary since this 16 amp charger can always charge my car overnight.This particular charger always connects quickly to my EV. As you can see from the photo, I am getting 15 amps into my car at 236 volts. That is more than 3,500 watts. I really like the fact that it is also compatible with 120 volt circuit, although charging at that speed is incredibly slow. It is a good backup charger that fits into my frunk. Zero problems or concerns with this charger. It is exactly what I needed.

I’ve been using it 4 months now. It’s working great so far. I was surprised how many features this charger has for its low price. At the time I bought it, it was the cheapest 32 amp level 2 charger available on Amazon. It doesn’t at all feel like the cheapest. It’s actually quite nice. I’ll update if any issues arise in the future.

Worked well while it worked. 4 months later it just shows V1.0 and flashing and will not charge my car.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a great EV charger, nice features like adjustable amperage settings, which allows to adapt the charging speed based on the user needs and available power supply.The charger's compatibility with a wide range of voltage inputs (110V-240V) makes it versatile, especially when during traveling and have access to different types of outlets. The 20ft cable length is convenient and gives me the flexibility to park my car at a reasonable distance from the power source.However, I deducted a couple of points from my rating because I found the build quality to be decent but not exceptional. It's sturdy enough for regular use, and seems durable. Also, comes with a storage bag or case, which is a nice addition.Overall, it does the job efficiently, offers flexibility, very portable, great build quality and accessories.

This product worked great for the first 4 months but now just says fault and has stopped charging. I live in an area without charging stations and rely on my ability to charge over night at home. This was a replacement for the charger that came stock with the Chevy spark, that one lasted 7 years, this one 4 months. Not good.Editing original 1 star review. Sellers were apologetic and wanted to make right my bad experience. They are sending a new unit to replace the old. I appreciate the effort.

My garage outlet shares the circuit breaker with a freezer. This EV charger allows me to set the maximum current to 10 amps leaving 5 amps for the freezer so both can operate at the same time without tripping the breaker. It works perfectly. It has a nice display with volts, amps and other charge information but once its going its a nice plug it in and forget about it charger. The cables are nice flex well so its easy to connect and disconnect then wrap over the holder for the cable I have. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a simple charger that the amperage is adjustable on.

I purchased this charger since Tesla stopped supplying their own chargers. They’re about $350 and wanted to use a Level 1 for overnights when visiting my son. This charger worked better than I expected……Charged from 56% to 80% in about 10 hours. Perfect for short trips or daily commuting. Very easy to use but needs the J1771 adapter which Tesla does supply.
