So far so shiny
A very knowledgable friend suggested that I give this product a try; she and her husband are often complimented on "the professional detailing company that does their work". They lust use LXR.I bought it from Amazon immediately and tried it out within minutes of it arriving at my house. Great car wash - cleans exceedingly well and water really does sheet off. Claims re: no waxing will need to wait a few months, but so far I think the product is great (ps-as others claim, works well on brake dust too).

Its True, if you hate waxing, buy this soap.
I have used this soap on new cars and old. It litterally makes the old cars look new and the the new cars even better. If I repeat what is in their ads it is only because I tried it and it is true.First, it is the best tar and bug remover I have used. Sometimes they do not immediately disolve but if you keep applying the soap, let it sit for a while and then scrub with a soft sponge or one of those imitation shammie things,(those are great too!). The bugs come right off and most of the tar. And, as you continue to wash with LXR, this becomes easier and easier.Brake Dust! Wow! I do not know why they call it dust because it sticks like glue on my wheels. LXR lets you rub it right off. Rub is almost an exaggeration. The soapy cloth barely has to touch the stuff and it comes right off.Scratches and Clear Coat. Yes, it makes scratches diminish and go away. I believe their explanation on why paint looks dull from thousands of scratches you do not see. LXR supposedly fills in those and makes the paint shine according to the ads. I do not know how it works but it works. Also I recently bought a used car from a dealer who promised to repaint the car due to Clear coat bubbling up. You can imagine the quality of that job and there were still a lot of those bubbles. The first time I washed it the paint looked better and the clear coat bubbles started disappearing! Every time I wash, more of them get smaller and smoother edges on the ones that are gone.Use more to use less. I am not a frequent car washer or a car nut. As a matter of fact my cars do not get the wash attention they deserve, except when I use LXR. Sounds crazy but the ads claim you go longer between washes because dirt and dust do not stick to the new slick surface. Again, its True!If you like beads you might be disappointed! Not! The car also looks wierd when it gets wet. Most waxes bead when they get wet. LXR does not have large beads, almost all the water slips off the finish and leaves time bits of moisture that almost evaporate immediately. Beading is great looking protection but guess what? It leaves water spots..... Tiny beads are not there long enough to gather dust, hence no spots. When you wash, you do not have to dry, I usually shammy just because it is fun to see the finish sparkle, makes me feel like I am doing something.Oh yes, you will use less and less every time you wash. Two reasons. Dirt is not sticking to your new slick surface. If it manages to hold on, washing with just a touch removes it. Second reason, your finish has fewer scratches to fill, you need less soap to do it. Really, The first time I used it I had two bucket of water with a capful each. I needed to get bugs and sticky dirt off. Next time I used one capful in an bucket to put on more of the residual polymers. By the third time, Even the soap did not want to stick to the car, only used about 3/4 of a bucket. Fourth time, I cut the amount of soap to one half capful. Oh by the way, the time between washings became longer and longer.I am tempted to try one of those car wash wands but have not gotten around to it yet. I think LXR would really shine there (sorry could not help the pun).So if you are not the most motivated car washer(I call myself lazy) and still want that car fanatic look on your vehicles, do not hesitate, do not think about it, buy LXR. All you true car fanatics you can still spend hours washing your car with LXR every week. Your cars will look fantastic too. You might miss those hours spent on waxing and polishing though.

I was Skeptical but really works great!!!
Ok I was skeptical! Bought a bottle on amazon washed my car and my SUV, Followed the instructions and just rinsed the soap off. Wow both cars looked very clean and no water spots. One day later it rained and the water just sheets off and cars look great again. I'm not sure how long it lasts.

Heavy streaking
I used this product as instructed on a black car. I was sure to rinse the car throughly as the instructions recommended for a dark colored car. It was left very streaky. It looked worse than before I washed it. I rinsed the car again and towel dried. Seem to be ok after that, but areas that got wet again left streaks. Really not happy with the product

The best car wash product
I got this product about 5 years ago after I purchased my new Sebring Convertible... I think it was on QVC (but not sure). I could not drive my car through a carwash and was bummed out by that. I have used it since then and it is everything that they claim. You wash the car and rinse and that is it. Dirt is gone a beautiful shine and no having to wipe the car afterwards...I would recommend this to everyone...

I even enjoy washing my car...
LXR rocks! It is effective at cleaning but it's the "after" wash that is exceptional. If it is shady you do not need to wipe off the water or you can just drive around the block and get most of the water off. Shine lasts longer and car stays cleaner longer...amazing.
