FOANRIY Gas Can Spout Replacement
OMG am I so glad I found a good set of replacement spouts for the gas cans I use for my lawnmower and weed eater. I've used all three replacement spouts at this point with no problems whatsoever. The spouts do not leak and they do the job they were made for.Pros: price, quality, quantity, fitment and ease of useCons: none

So far they have not leaked or cracked.
So very many plastic items from China have vastly inferior elastomeric engineering. I waited to write this review to see if the snouts would crack after use. So far, they are working well and the seals have not leaked. It is a nice touch that they include the correct size drill bit for installing the vent port. The vent port opens and closes nicely. So points for engineering on that score as well. The snouts fit past the narrow unleaded gas opening on American cars. So that is a plus also. These are much better than the OEM snouts that they replaced.

Now my jugs pour faster than ever.
I have 2 5 gallon gasoline jugs. I have a ATV and chainsaws and lawnmowers. When I stop at a gasoline station I fill a 5 gallon jug or 2. The parts allowed me to put vents on the jugs and spouts that are flexible and sturdy. I did not have even vents to let in air to pour my gasoline out of the jug until I bought this.

Read this before you install or send back, it is an easy deluxe installation.
Ok – These spouts are cheap-o but with proper installation they should give good service. This is an easy deluxe installation. Initially I thought they would not screw on my old plastic Midwest and Briggs and Stratton Cans but with a little lubrication and force they worked just fine. You will need some plumbers valve stem grease, a small tube of gel super glue, ca accelerator/activatorspray, and light sandpaper. The ca accelerator spray makes Super/Krazy/Cyanoacrylate work on plastics and other materials that it would not otherwise. It’s awesome and easy to order on Amazon. Otherwise you may purchase "Loctite Plastic Bonding System High Strength Cyanoacrylate Plastic Bonder 4 gm" at a hardware store and use as directed.1. Take valve stem grease aka "plumbers grease", smear a small amount on the threads of the gas can to verify the nut will go on. It might take some force the first few times, but the plastic will learn the form and get better .2. Take the rubber seal off the spout, be careful not to stretch it and lube all over with the plumber’s grease. Unless otherwise noted, use this whenever you are installing an o-ring or other rubber seals. Lube it again periodically. I would not take it off in the future, it might be somewhat crusty and break. Squirt a little lube in the spout cap too.3. Determine a spot to install the gas vent caps. I found the smoothest spot and used it. Lightly sand the surface. Drill the hole with the drill bit provided. It is best to use a high-speed electric drill, it is more likely to create a clean round hole without forcing. Brush away the filings as you drill. Sand again, there will likely be a small ridge around the hole. Even if empty and seems dry in the can some plastic filings might stick to the inside walls of the can, I used a bit of gas to swirl around and dumped to ensure the filings are gone. Don’t tell wifey-poo but I used a strainer from the kitchen to filter the swirled gas. Dawn dishwashing soap is part of my must have chemicals.4. Spray the ca accelerator on the surface of the vent cap. Squirt a small amount of the glue on the can surface around the hole and quickly push in the OPENED cap and hold. Wipe off residual very quickly for a neat job. Spray a small amount of accelerant again at the glued area. You will likely see some very hard glue around the hole, let it stay. Wipe out the cap and don’t close until you feel certain there is no chance glue got on where it snaps down.5. Screw the spout on then the cap and you are done.

Basic Gas Can Spout
I recently purchased a replacement spout for my gas can, and I have to say that it's a no-frills product that gets the job done. While it may not have any standout features or special qualities, it serves its purpose well. The replacement spout is straightforward to install, and it fits securely onto my gas can without any issues. It allows for a smooth and controlled pour of fuel, which is the primary function I was looking for. I appreciate that it doesn't leak or spill, which is crucial for avoiding messes and safety concerns. However, it's worth noting that there's nothing particularly exceptional about this replacement spout. It doesn't have any additional features like a vent or a child-safety mechanism, but if you're simply looking for a basic replacement for your gas can, it will do the job effectively. The gas can replacement spout is a reliable and functional product. It might not have any standout qualities, but it does precisely what it's designed for without any fuss. If you're in need of a straightforward replacement spout for your gas can, this one will suffice.
