I could never get on with a metal thimble, it always seems to be 'in the way' while I'm sewing. This soft thimble has made all the difference to me. It's tough enough to protect my finger and very comfortable in use. I did trim the length a little to make it fit exactly for me, and I'm so glad I bought them. I have arthritis in my hands and it has made sewing so much easier with much less pain, I can also grip the needle much better. They come as a set so you can match one to your finger size. I found these products very useful as I hand sew a lot. The metal ones are a bit large but the leather ones fit perfectly. 👌

Cheap and cheerful. The golden full thimble is absolurely horrible.One of the fingertip cover ones though fits perfectly and after a few hours of stitching has resulted in no issues.The other one not so much, on any finger, thankfully it goes fit well for a friend of mine so it's not a total loss.That full one though, is only really useful as a tiny tiny cup. Or perhaps a hat. A very tiny hat. It is uncomfortable on all of my fingers / thumbs as well as my mother's and my friends! Least of all actually trying to sew with it on.Good review simply because one of them is perfect! If you are hoping for three functional ones then you may have a bit less luck.

These are a perfect fit for me. I used to try to use the metal thimbles but they’re too big for my fingers. The leather thimbles make it much easier and more comfortable for me when hand sewing

Disappointed as only 2 fit (thumb & pinky)

They protect fingers well but have a tendency to slide off my fingers.

Some of the thimbles only fit onto the very end of my fingers, but still work ok and great variety within this neat little set.
