A Good Knife Knifes!
And this one knifes well! With a blade size of just under 5 inches, it's a very strong piece of metal. It arrived razor-sharp, without a single spot of rust. I was able to use it for a wilderness course all weekend without having to sharpen it at all! As described, it is full tang, has a PTE grip that sits firmly in hand without slippage, and comes with a poly sheath for a little extra safety and security. At such a good price, I couldn't really ask for more.

WoW... Impressed
Very impressed with this knife right out of the box. I even ordered a discounted returned item that was as brand new. Razor sharp shaving my the hair off my arm. Nice sheath, and ready for the intended use of Bushcraft. Not sure why anyone would return this knife at this price. I highly recommend this for a beginner or seasoned veteran in bush, camp, survival..

Good but...
Bought the green and satin flat grind. It's a good, competent knife on the whole but needs some improvements. Only time will tell how the steel is but for most of the rest of it, it's alright.ALRIGHT:* Very comfortable in hand.*Handle material is a dense, firm rubber, not unlike the kind of stuff Cold Steel uses. It's grippy and not cheap feeling at all. It's nice and you will like it.* Good grinds all around.*Acceptably, but not amazing, sharp. No problems so far with rolling, chipping or deforming. Seems to hold an edge like it should. Y'all know how Chinese D2 is, though.* Sharp spine throws gobs of sparks off a good quality ferro rod.* Long vertical spacing between rivets and on the belt strap is identical to an Esee 6 sheath, so finding a matching ferro rod holder is easy. Make sure the one you get comes with a longer screw set, preferably with truss (flat) heads or washers because one will need to go in the slot.NOT ALRIGHT:* The belt strap is functional, but poorly designed, only connecting to one side of the sheath. You can't actually move it up or down the sheath, either. Reason being, the handle strap is sized such that it will only fit exactly in the handle groove it sits in out of the box and the handle hump in the sheath won't let you move it any higher anyway, but the only real reason you'd want to move it is so you can use a Esee 6 ferro rod holder and get both screws in the rivet holes instead of one in the slot.* The rivets in the sheath are those cheap rivets everybody uses even on very expensive knives - Fat on one side, very thin and weak on the other. This also presents a fashion faux pas for lefties.* They cheaped out on the screws. They need to be another 2mm or 3mm longer. I don't think they'll break, they just should've used better screws. They're also oval head screws so you can only use them reliably in the rivet holes. Technically, you can use them in the slots, but because they dig in and spread the plastic you can't really tighten that screw and you risk breaking the sheath.* Retention of the sheath itself is not very good, so plan on always using the belt strap. It's fine because it has the belt strap and doesn't need any retention on the sheath at all, but if it didn't I would not trust the retention of the sheath itself.REMARKS:It's a good user knife. A good alternative to a similarly sized Mora and has better steel, assuming the heat treat doesn't suck and so far it appears to be okay. It's not perfect, of course. They need to beef up the screws and give it a full width back plate. Personally, I wish it had more flat in the blade and less rake on the belly, but it's fine like it is. They also ought to offer a compatible ferro rod holder or integrate one into the backplate itself. They're really leaving money on the table by not having this. The sheath IS NOT KYDEX! That's fine, but too many reviewers are calling it Kydex and it is not. It's just plastic, like FRN. The backplate on the belt strap does look and feel very much like Kydex.Make it a dangler: Get yerself a 1.5" V-ring or a D-ring for the belt strap and a ZakTools or similar keychain holder to hook it into and it makes a nice dangler.

Great working knife for the money. Seemingly well made and durable so far. No complaints at all.

Good/Not like new
This was a "used like new" purchase. First of all it was not like new at all. The knife itself is. The sheath, not so much. The snap that secures the knife into the sheath was broken from the get go. I can fix the situation and as luck would have it, I have the items needed to do the fix. The point is, I think the price should've been reduced more than $3.00. The knife is as expected. I saw a review that said the extended tang may hit your hand and I would agree. I'm not sure it will be an issue until I use it. I'm guessing that it will be ok. If not, it would be simple enough to cut it off. I've never been a fan of lanyards and other junk hanging from the back of your knife anyway. So, I guess for the price, someone buying a new one of these would be satisfied.
