The media could not be loaded. This is a really lovely little strobe that will suit tons of applications. I’m a studio portrait photographer and purchased this to be part of my mobile setup. The Bowens mounts make it compatible with lots of different lighting modifiers and the tough build quality is confidence-inspiring.The 300W power rating will give me plenty of juice for pretty much all studio applications: you’d probably need a bit more power for overpowering the sun outside, but then you’d also probably be using a battery-powered unit.From initial tests I can’t tell much difference between these and my Elinchrom lights, which weigh in at quite a bit more money.As with all Godox stuff it’s easy to set up and use: it just snaps together with your softbox or whatever, the controls are very straightforward and it seems very well put together.I’m looking forward to putting it through its paces in a range of portrait setups but my initial impression is very positive and I’d highly recommend this strobe.

This purchase was a replacement for the previous model which sadly went bang recently. Luckily the item was within warranty, and Amazon refunded the purchase price in full. I hope this replacement lasts longer than 11 months.

Bought this unit, came with slight damage to box , half of the internal packaging missing, finger marks on filters which I can only conclude that it’s a return or had been used. Sending it back.
