So far this blender works great, plenty of power and the large glass jug is great, a lot quieter than other blenders as well. Will have to give it some time and usage to see how it stands up to using every day. we make smoothies on a daily basis.12/20/23 Updating my review. This machine is " the little blender that could " absolutely the best value for money. I like my smoothie thick and this blender handles the task. Highly recommend6/17/23 Update, Pretty much used this every day for the last 1 1/2 years, the motor still ran strong but the switch broke and then the safety tab broke as well. Guess I can't complain. what would one expect for $45, It outlasted the $80-$100 blenders I've had

Replacement doesn’t work either?? Started to smell like electronics were burning. Unit shut off after blending some drinks during a party. Only liquid and ice.After contacting the after sales team about the mechanical issue with the base motor, I am please to say that they absolutely stand behind their products and shipped out a new unit immediately.It performs perfect and working with them was very easy and their timeliness was spot on!I would most definitely purchase from them again.THANK YOU!!!The blender itself looks great and had very favorable reviews. Just received mine 1/11/24 and used it 1/17. I was just blending normal food items and the blender will only blend for 45 seconds B4 shutting itself off? The power source is on as well as the blue light around the dial; but nothing works. After 15 minutes of letting it “sit,” it will power back on and once again only blend for 45 seconds . . . Tried calling their 833# and only get busy signals?? Emailed support to no avail yet. Any suggestions?I was so excited I unpacked it upon delivery and tossed the box (my mistake). I just want this to work.

When I first purchased the blender, it did a great job making smoothies. I used it daily and followed the instructions using it as intended. The only concern I had was that it emitted a faint burning smell well operating. In less than a month of use, while it was operating it began emitting smoke and then no longer worked.Maybe mine was defective. I ordered a replacement and I will change the review if the new one works. If the new one does the same thing and breaks down I'll update the review with that info.UPDATE: I received the replacement and after using it about three times it starting making an even worse burning smell so I'll also be returning this one. I strongly recommend not buying this.The smoothies I made using it were mostly frozen kale and spinach. I typically let the vegetables thaw for a couple hours before blending them, but the blender seemed to struggle with them the more frozen they were. I would have thought that at 1200 watts the motor would be able to handle them. When it struggled to blend them, I would add more liquid and pulse it a few times and that seemed to make it operate better. It literally is the worst and most frustrating thing I've ever bought on Amazon.

Edited- I wanted to try making some smoothies but wasn't sure I wanted to purchase an expensive blender at first. This worked okay, but not great. It handled frozen fruit and made a decent drink. But this morning in September it tripped the arc fault breaker on two circuits so it was time to go. If you are going to use a blender every day, get a better one. For occasional use, this will likely do fine. NOTE- After I wrote the above, the company reached out to offer a refund even though I had tossed the blender into the trash and had nothing to return. It is nice to see a company stand behind their product. Hopefully my issue was an isolated issue and as I noted, the blender was fine for our first try into the smootie world.

There is a specific reason why I had to look for another blender when I already have 2 units from Ninja. Even though the Ninja blender I have is very powerful (1500W), it comes with tumbler shaped upside down jars. The issue with upside down jars while making smoothie is that once the ingredients blend especially with protein powder, it generates a lot of froth and since there is not way for pressure relief, the blender makes a loud noise and puts pressure on the sealing gasket in the jar (also affects the blending efficiency). I also had an incident where it leaked despite operating well below the max limit of the vessel. I do have an option to use the large blending jar but it is way too big for breakfast portion of smoothie and often results in leafy vegetable pieces remaining.I was looking for a simple blender which was powerful and also not expensive. That's when I came across the SHARDOR model. Following are the pros and cons:Pros:1. It is very simple to operate with 3 modes of speed: Pulse, Low speed (1), and High speed (2), that's it!2. Glass jar with removeable blades - Much better and durable than plastic and the best part is that you can remove the blade base so you can actually CLEAN the unit properly after use.3. Interesting 6-blade design with jagged edges. I hope it lasts long and survives wear and tear.4. 52 oz. jar which is perfect for smoothie, not too big and not too small. The opening on the lid allows you to add stuff while blending and also relieves pressure when the smoothie generates froth. Even though it also came with a 22 oz. tumbler jar but I don't use it for obvious reasons.5. I have added ice cubes to the smoothie and so far didn't have any issues with the motor. 1200W is more than enough for smoothies.6. Two-year warranty with registration.Cons:So far I have not come across any. However, I received it less than a week ago and have only used it probably 5 times. I want to see how long the blades (especially with the jagged design) and the silicone washers last.At this point, I would definitely recommend this product as its simple and cost-effective.
