This is the solution you're looking for.
Works perfect for controlling TV and Xbox. Feels like a Roku remote. Buttons are a little clicky, but it's cheap and works great.

PERFECT XBOX ++ media remote!
It's exaclty like every smart tv, firestick, and roku simple remote, but for your xbox. Some people complaining about programming... It's stupid simple. No codes. It just copies the signal from your remote to the desired button. Even better? Because it's just duplicating a signal, I have it programmed for volume, power, and input cycle on my receiver, and it ALSO can turn on/off my sony projector. This literally replaces 2 remotes and a controller to stream from my xbox one.Why stream from my xbox? I use blu ray often, and I discovered that the firestick has an audio cutoff in the bass that the xbox doesn't. Still my favorite media device since the 360.

Do not buy
This thing sucks. Sorta ok with the TV, but super finicky with the Xbox. Has to be perfectly lined up to the Xbox, or it just doesn’t work.

Finally an inexpensive Xbox remote that doesn't break every few months. It's lasted 2 years so far. Works fine.

Works great for a few months then the ok button stops working.
Works great for a few months, but then the ok button starts going and you have to mash the ok button to get it to work.

Great Remote
The universal remote works great with both of our XBox's! The remote makes it so much easier to turn it on and off and go through the settings.Very pleased!!!
