Quality knife
The media could not be loaded. Nice size edc knife. Comfortable in hand. Action is smooth and the blade is sharp. It has a nice trailing point blade. I like the black Civivi pivot brand circle. Good texture scales. Good value for the price. Weight is good and well balanced. Sits in pocket right. Easy to get out of pocket when you need it. Civivi makes good budget friendly knives.

Strange name, but a great knife at a great price
After watching Civivi products for a while, I took the plunge on the ODD 22. Strange name, but great knife. The action out of the box was quite good. With a little oil and a little tuning, though, it’s now phenomenal IMO. Easy to deploy quickly with the flipper or the thumbstud. Solid lockup with no blade play. Really good fit and finish for the price. While I’m not a huge fan of bead-blasted polishes, it’s better than stonewashed and gives a nice utilitarian appearance. The factory edge was plenty sharp, but I put an even sharper edge on it and the polish of the edge contrasts nicely with the bead blasted finish. The price of this one is a handful of dollars away from things like the Chinese-made Spyderco Persistence (which I also have). The ODD 22 is a better knife than the Spyderco in almost every way. The ODD 22 is more detailed in the grinds of the scales and blade and has a deep carry clip. The blade/pivot/bearing construction is more thoroughly and thoughtfully engineered on the Civivi as well. The Civivi had better action before and after tuning than the Spyderco ever did going through the same processes, and the ODD had better blade centering. The steel of the ODD 22 is a slight upgrade over the Persistence also. The Spyderco was slightly sharper out of the box, though. The ODD 22 is hard to beat in this price range and is an upgrade over many similarly priced things like the Persistence.

Pleasantly pleased as expected!
I had a different style Damascus knife from Civivi in the past and my dad decided he liked it more than me, so I needed a nice replacement after going through several cheap HD knives.Ordered it right after Christmas, arrived early, just got it out and I can’t stop opening it! It’s super smooth and will hopefully be my new EDC for a while. Or atleast until my dad needs a new one.Nice edge but still gave it a few passes.

I'm impressed
I was looking for a pocketable knife to replace an old worn out knife I have been carrying for 10 years that was only $12. The idea being that with all of the travel I did if I forgot I had it on me and went through TSA with it, that it wouldn't be that big of a loss. Now that I no longer travel for work, I wanted a nicer knife to carry for daily use. First thing that attracted me to this knife, besides the obvious cool look of the Damascus Blade, was how the pocket clip was situated on the knife. This knife sits very low in the pocket when clipped in and with dark pants is very difficult to see. The action of opening the blade, utilizing either method, is very smooth. When locked in place, the blade and handle feel like one solid piece, no wiggle or movement at all. The blade came fully sharpened and I am impressed with how sharp it is! Normally I end up having to sharpen a new blade straight out of the box. Only time will tell how well the blade keeps its edge, but so far I am very happy with this purchase. Would definitely recommend!

Good knife
I was attracted to the shape/design of this knife. The detent is perfect, no limp opening nor overly stiff deployment here, just right. I like knives with more than one opening method, and this has the thumbstud and flipper. I like the little "clink" it makes when it closes, it feels premium. Although people seem to like 14c28n, as a semi-pro sharpener of many years, I personally don't like it. I liked the knife enough otherwise to overlook a personally disliked steel. Good daily carry.

One of the best
I’ve had several different knives and they all seem to do well. I bought this one because my edc had a bent tip. I wanted something that was unique and looked beautiful and was comfortable.. this fit everything I looked for. The wood finish feels and looks great, the Damascus is beautiful, the edge is sharp and has stayed very sharp so far. Clip is stiff but flexible enough to clip on my jeans pocket.

Is it worth the extra money?
I like the blade, the handle and overall fit and finish. But it’s G10 & 14c28n, for $60. The kizer under it is micarta, 154cm, button lock, for $40. You’re paying $20 extra for the Tuff Knives logo, IMHO.
