Adult Womens Storybook Alice Fancy Dress Costume – Small (UK 10-12)

I found the material quite good quality, the Extra Large size fitted me well, I am normally a Large size. The straps on the apron fell down occasionally, but other than that I was quite pleased with it and it looked great when I wore it to a Halloween Party. It is worth the money.

I am a 14 and bought a medium aimed at size 14-16. I would say it runs true to size; you could even get away with a size smaller than your regular size if you are not too body-conscious! The fabric of the dress is sound and you cannot see through it. The fabric of the apron is a little more flimsy but it is only a decorative item, after all. All well-made with no holes or loose threads. My only negative and the reason I give 4 stars is that the waistline sits ridiculously low, almost as if it has been styled for men whose natural waistlines sit lower than women's do. Likewise, the apron straps are ridiculously long. It isn't a deal-breaker though as the dress waistline is hidden under the apron and it is easy to sew or pin the apron straps to the right length. I make costumes for panto and this was cheaper than making a dress and apron from scratch (I paid £18.95 in October 2022). It also won't look out-of-place with the costumes that are hand-made.

I wanted to find a cheap, long, and not "sexy" Alice costume so I could adjust it and customise it for a festival. This arrived within 24 hours of me ordering it [I think!!] and looks exactly like the one in the picture. I'm 6 feet tall and I ordered a medium which is 12/14. I'm about a 12 and it fits me nicely, with plenty of room so it could even fit a size 16 if you wanted it a little tighter. The dress came down to just below the knee, and I'd say I looked about as hot as the model in the picture whilst wearing it to be honest ;)The headband was a bit tight on my abnormally MASSIVE head, so I simply peeled off the bow and stuck it to another headband. Sorted! For those of you worrying that the bow might be crappy and peel off easily, don't be! I have long, sharp fingernails and it took a good few minutes for me to slowly tear it from the glue, bit by bit. It's stuck on there pretty hard. But when peeled off, it still maintains it's shape to easily slap onto another headband with some glue. There's absolutely nothing I don't like about this purchase. This is coming from someone who's wardrobe is 90% fancy dress/ridiculous attire, and 10% normal/casual wear. I'm pretty fussy about my fancy stuff!!Five stars. Total win. OMG LOOK THERE'S A RABBIT!!

Beautiful outfit and the quality seems good enough. Lenght is a bit long for a small person.

I ordered this for my 17 year old for world book day. She has special needs, and wore it until hometime. She cannot comment herself,but she got lots of compliments. Plus she kept on which means it must of been comfortable. I ordered small, the dress was perfect, the apron a bit large. But just put an extra tie in it. Was very pleased with my product. A pretty good price. She did not wear the headband long though!!

Bought a size small which states size 10-12. Dress fit fine although the elastic around the arms was quite tight which became uncomfortable when I wore it all day.The apron was quite baggy so had to pin it to stay in place.Overall fine for fancy dress
