My Hummer H3 runs like it's new!
I was having a cylinder missfire. The Blue Driver said it was a mass air flow sensor failure. I ordered the $18 replacement. It worked wit an occasional missfirefor about 500 miles before my engine began chugging. Blue Driver said multiple cylinder misfire and mass air flow sensor failure. I ordered the the GM Delco replacement from Amazon (over night shipping) and installed it the next morning. No more chugging or rough idle and no dreaded Check Engine Light. I know better than to go cheep on auto parts. Senior moment I guess.

The part was delivered quickly, however my mechanic determined that I did not need it.

This was a good choice!
I had three codes for my 2010 Chevrolet Equinox and after my research, this part was what I needed to correct the issue. It was worth watching the videos on how to install and once I watched them 3 times I felt comfortable that I could "change" this part out easily. It took me around 10 minutes and once I had it installed and cleared all of those codes with my reader it has been fine ever since. I will recommend this as it's the DELCO actual part and my recommendation is to stay with this one instead of the cheaper knockoff part. Worth the time to change this out yourself and anyone who is somewhat mechanically inclined can to do this eaily.

Used item
I paid for a new GM MAF sensor and I got a used, dirty generic one. Do not buy this item.

Does the trick!
Vehicle was idling rough but seemed fine under load, but then the check engine light came on and i knew something was up. The code was referencing the RPMs dropping too low. Replacing this part and cleaning out the throttle body did the trick. I DID NOT RESET THE CPU. I ran it for a few days after the repair and it cleared on its own. **Warning** Your vehicle may run worse than it did before you did the repair, but do not be alarmed, it is just the CPU re-learning whats going on underneath the hood. After it completes the drives cycle (maybe up to 3 days depending on your driving habits) it will make the necessary adjustments and clear the code. Repair time for this was about 20 minutes since i took the time to clean the throttle body. - I highly recommend you take the time to do this too since you're already in there, it makes a lot of difference.Note: I had this issue before and used the Mass Air Sensor cleaning spray from the auto parts store and it worked before. I tried it again the last time but it didn't help so I just replaced the sensor and it worked. My review helpful? Let me know!
