Cerberus - At Last!
When I was a child, I always wanted models of a lot of animals - real and, so far as we know, mythical - which just weren't available. It always vexed me that there was no Cerberus toy. I mean, all children want to build their own Underworld, right, and you can't have the Gates of Hell without Cerberus standing guard there... Or was I just a weird child? Maybe. Never mind.Point is, years after I gave up on the idea of ever finding a Cerberus model, I can now finally crawl happily about the floor attacking all those old Greek warrior figures with a giant three-headed dog.No, I'm not abnormal; much. The model is well-made and robust. It stands well without falling over. Well-detailed, especially the heads, down to very nice mouth-interiors, the body with a powerful, muscular appearance. The three heads are somewhat reminiscent of slightly-mutated and very angry mastiffs. The black/dark-brown colouration is suitably "hell-hound", eyes and teeth picked out well. The three red, silver-studded collars are a nice touch for Cerberus, as well as the manacle on the hind right leg trailing a short piece of broken chain. Obviously this is not a dog you can tie up somewhere and expect him to stay...

Fightening looking creature
I bought this for my four year old son as a birthday present. He loves knights and monsters and took a shine to this when I was browsing on the internet. I personally think it looks horrible and my daughter is physically repulsed by it, but its intended audience (lively little boy) absolutely adores it and carries it around with him. It seems very sturdy, stands up well, and has some lovely detailing - e.g. the pads on the paws. It is a weighty figure and should stand up to boisterous and enthusiastic play. Reasonable value overall.

What it says...
Good quality, detail painting not bad. Nephew loves all these Papo fantasy figures so I he'll love this one. Could be a tad cheaper, but if not should have movable limbs.

Robust
Nice solid toy bought as the three headed dog from Harry Potter. A great addition to our collection of Papo figures.

Not as scary as I thought it would be
Good piece which looks the same as the picture. Just thought it might look a bit more scary.
