Q: Is the height of this chair (without wheels) adjustable?

Hi. No the chairs height isn't adjustable. Really good quality chair though.

Q: Is it comfortable to work from home with?

This was originally bought as a chair for my wife's make up table who but decided to use it as an office chair. She initially found it nice and comfortable however found it is not suitable for long hours in the chair. The back isn't high enough to give support and has no lumbar structure. She advises it for short term use only and not for long days facing a screen.

Q: Random question but once assembled the top part of the chair simply lifts off the leg base when moving the chair - is this normal?

Mine is one cohesive piece and does not come apart. Did you perhaps miss a component when putting the chair together? Or maybe your kit was missing a piece?
