Playlearn SWGB Glitter Ball snow globe with LED color changing Mood Light

I first came across these at a baby sensory group and my three month old loved it so decided to buy one. It is now used every day as his bathtime routine to add a sensory experience to his bathtime. It is not intended for use in water however! It is used to light up the ceiling and he loves looking at it during his massage. Quality is great, the light isn’t too bright but enough for a positive sensory experience. The glitter is a lovely touch as it reflects the light. Great value for money and would buy again.

The media could not be loaded. This was a Christmas present for our then 6 year old who has some sensory sensitivities and processing issues. He loves to watch the little stars or flies (as we call them) move around the walls and ceiling. You have to give it a shake for the glitter to move around and eventually it slows down and settles. We found different effect when the ball is stood up to when we lay it on its side, when it's on its side, it projects more little dots on the ceiling, so it's an interactive item in a way

Does not have an internal motor to keep the water and glitter moving. So unless you shake it yourself every 30 seconds it's useless.

It is indeed small, but does the trick for kiddies, acty I like to shake it up and look at myself

I bought this for my 2yrs old son and he absolutely adores it. The globe is made of plastic which makes it safe for my son. You have to shake the globe every few minutes for the glitter to move. It is perfect for a small child but I also find it mesmerising. Makes a very cute toy

This was bought for our granddaughter to replace one we broke - what a lovely object!She now uses it as a night light and is fascinated by the rotating lights on her ceiling - these certainly send her off to sleep.Its reasonable price and build quality makes it worth a 5 star rating.
