WD 3 TB Elements Portable Hard Drive

Same high standard as always expected from WD. I do not use any other make of storage hard drives as they have never let me down to date.

I was already happy with WD hard drives, I've been using the 2TB one for more than 3 years and never had a problem with it, so when I needed more space I bought this 3TB one without thinking. And again I had no problem with it for now, it's fast, quite straightforward to use, nice small size, and has nothing annoying really.

So far so good. But as with all hard drives time will tell.

about to order my 3rd one of these, such a good drive, probably the best I've used so far (have 20+ years experience using/buying/building computers and parts) this drive works very well, nice and quiet, very smooth transfer rates, really recommend it

Amazing capacity for such a small dive. Of course, it's not fast but entirely adequate as either a backup drive or as complement to a laptop when you need to travel with huge files. Runs cool and has now been in use for five years (to January 2022).

i bought this portable hard drive precisely because i can travel around with it at ease and since it's so small (a bit smaller than i expected) it was a must buy for me. The problems started for me when i tried to connect it with my laptop and nothing happned hapened, it installed correctly on my laptop but after that nothing happened. i could see the light coming from the portable hard drive and i could hear the disk spinning but i could not get it to work. i spent countless hours on the web trying to see if anyone else had the same problems as me or if my hard drive was just faulty but it turns out there must be something wrong with my hard drive. I ussualy trust Amazon since i never had any problems with them before but i wish i could have a refund, i vaguely remember reading that this hard drive offers a 1 year warranty, how can i return this product??

Managed to get the product at a relatively low price at a sale so it pretty much surpasses its value for money. Awesome storage capacity for its portable size (and IT IS quite portable for a HDD), decent read/write speeds, really quiet (seems to have a sleep mode as well), looks and feels sturdy and it's a product of WD - quality guaranteed.Great product, great price.

buen producto, WD no decepciona, el segundo que compro en 2 años y cumple con tadas las espectativas. Lectura/escritura a una velocidad más que aceptable. El otro que tengo es de 2Tb y un día se me cayó y la carcasa por un lado y el dísco por, lo volvi a montar... y hasta ahora, sigue funcionando perfectamente. Sin duda, lo recomendaría

Das Gehäuse ist etwas dicker als bei meinen anderen 2,5-Zoll-Festplatten. Ansonsten gibt es aber nichts auszusetzen - die Festplatte arbeitet schnell und leise. Das mitgelieferte Kabel hat eine länge von ca. 40cm. Trotz eines zwischengeschalteten passiven USB-Hubs gibt es keinerlei Probleme beim Betrieb bzw. der Datenübertragung. Eine Transporthülle war leider nicht mit dabei, aber das Gehäuse macht auch so einen soliden Eindruck.Ich kann das Produkt nur empfehlen.

Avevo già visto il prodotto in questione in negozio, e pertanto conoscevo già le caratteristiche: ottima compattezza, qualità dei materiali, affidabilità WD. Ho preso la versione da 3 TB, per necessità di salvare una notevole quantità di dati. Funzionamento silenziosissimo, ha un piccole led posteriore che segnala il funzionamento. Leggero e dotato di cavetto USB autoalimentato (molto corto: 40 cm) 3.0 ma con retrocompatibiltà 2.0. Consigliato.
