Extended my gates remote control distance by about double. Very happy

We have an electronic gate at our church. Someone hop rje gate and broke the antenna off the electronic gate. Found this really inexpensive antenna online and purchased it. Installed it and it works like a charm for everyone. The range has vastly improved for our church members who use their remote control to open the gate when they come to church.

The construction and materials seem high quality but I can't find an antenna connection, SMA or other, on my garage door opener so I can't say how well it works. Check yours before ordering.

I used it to replace a beat up antenna on the gate at my driveway. Works perfectly from 100 meters, but I haven’t tested it at a longer distance. I don’t think I could see it past that anyway

Sadly I was unable to get this to work with my topens gate. I wanted this to extend the range of my current gate, but it requires you to solder the wires on the circuit board. I tried to avoid that and get coaxial adapters to hook up the current wire to the antenna, but it did not work. Maybe if I did the actual cutting the wire and soldering it on, but I didn't want to risk it to not work.

Works great on my gate opener

This should come with an adapter or make it much clearer that it uses a non standard plug. It shows this info in a picture but it’s not actually clear.
