When the box was opened, the first thing i noticed was a chemical smell. Took the 7 gallon planter pots to the back yard and separated them. Aired them out for 2 days under the Florida sun. After day 1, the smell was very faint. At end of day 2, there wasn't any smell. Cool. The order was for 10 pots and I received 11. One of the pots had an extremely minor problem but very usable. They are thick walled and thereby sturdy. There were less costly pots but I think I got a better value for the money spent as I will be using the pots for many growing seasons.

These are considerably less expensive that comparable pots so I was skeptical but they are quite study and rigid and much higher quality that I was expecting. Plus I ordered 10 and received 11- cheers!

I've purchased the 7, 10, and 15 gallon sizes, several times. They are nursery gallons, not liquid gallons, so it's hilarious when people line them with plastic and fill them with water then complain that they don't hold as many gallons as advertised. A nursery gallon is only about 70-75% of a liquid gallon. It's best to order them during warmer weather, as plastic becomes more brittle when cold and they are prone to breakage during shipping - as are ALL plastic pots. I order in sets of 10, and they have included an extra every time, presumably to hopefully absorb the shipping damage for the rest. Most of the time they've all arrived intact - and quickly. They will replace them if the damage is too great. I've ordered from other sellers and the others were much flimsier. You can buy sturdier pots but you will have to pay much more for them. I expect pots like this to break occasionally, all plastic pots can break. Overall, I like these pots and I will keep buying them as long as they keep selling them. I don't use them for growing food. Many I've had for several years, they've survived the winter just fine and only break when I'm not careful.

These are thick pots and they give you an extra one. None were broken or cracked. They have an awful offgassing smell inside when they get wet. Will still use for up potting my trees but will make sure they are left outside.

I was surprised to see they coming in just 2 days with an extra pot. Thick sturdy pots. Great product with a very reasonable price.

I literally just received these pots and I am thoroughly pleased. They are sturdy and strong. I have been trying to find big enough planters for my trees, but to no avail. FINALLY!!!!!!!! I will purchase more.

FOUR of these were BROKEN when I unpacked them. 3 have broken areas on the bottom and 1 on the top. I have ordered black plastic nursery pots before from others and never had this problem. 4 of the pits are basically useless.
