Q: What is the difference between the regular and upgrade style? My husband is looking for toe warmers to wear over running shoes to go mountain biking.

I note that the upgrade version has kevlaras one of the materials, not listed for the regular style. This type of shoe cover does a decent job protecting from air movement, thus is considered a warmer. I suspect that the upgrade style is longer lasting.

Q: What does the s/m & l/lx fit for shoe size in both women & men? i don’t know what size to get.

I wear a 10 1/2 men shoe and ordered the l/xl and they fit perfectly. I used them Sunday morning ride last week. I would buy again.

These may be fine for foot-hugging cycling shoes, but for anything else like running shoes or joggers, they are too small

Fit depends more on the thickness of the sole and the width of the shoe. I wear a 13 and they fit well on my cycling or other thin sole shoes, you may have difficulty trying to get them on over a cross trainer or a boot though
