Got this for the metal hardware because that won't shift on the toilet hardly at all. Fyi, however, it says wood, but its chipboard. Last one inexplicably broke when I sat on it after a couple of years of use. Overall, it's what you expect; a toilet seat. (you can get oak seats, but the wood can separate on those, resulting in a seat that can pinch your butt. So, I prefer these. I just wish they sold these seats locally.)

Installs easy, looks great and reasonably priced. The first time you realize this ISN'T a slow close lid you might have to sit down again.

This toilet seat is gorgeous It's heavy, solid. I hesitated to buy it because there was a warning on the red purhase page saying "it was frequently returned"I haven't used it yet but the installation was flawless and it looks goodIf anything goes wrong I'll be back to let you know. looks great but the lid is thicker than my previous so its hard to make it stay up. Rating 4 because maybe its just my toilet

Great product, works perfectly. Sturdy, metal hinges with 4 pads. Better than usual ones found at box stores. Would buy another
