These clips worked well for my Dodge Dakota truck. Whatever clips the previous owner put in there didn't hold at all. No more droopy hood liner!Most of the clips held well, and the split tops provide nice tension. I recommend slightly spreading the retaining tabs before installation and making sure they lock into place, otherwise the retainers may later fall out. Luckily there were more than enough spares in the package to replace the couple that fell out before I learned this. A few months have passed now without further issue.

I needed to replace the windshield washer nozzles on my 2015 Ram 1500 and I knew I'd never be able to reuse the clips that hold up the hood insulation. This was well worth the money to have a pack of these clips on hand to make putting it back together a snap (pun intended). If you're doing anything similar just spend the few bucks on the clips to make your life easier when you're putting things back together.

Some of these reviews are sort of superfluous. I bought these in order to reattach the sound deadening pad under the hood of my wife's 2017 Pacifica after we had a problem with the windshield washer sprayers. They match OEM parts and hold the pad in as they should. Otherwise there isn't much to say.

These Hood Insulation Retainers are really stout! Worth every penny I paid for them. Super easy to install and they hold the Hood Insulation in place preventing any sagging.

Do not even bother trying to re-use the old ones...at this price and availability, worth installing new ones. Local auto parts stores charge same price for pkg of 3.
