I am not sure I understand your question. If you are asking if the inserts fit tightly in my shoes I believe they do. I have had no issues with mine slipping. If you are asking if they make my shoes feel tight that depends greatly on the type of shoe. I have no issues with my sneakers, boots, or ballet flats. I do have a couple pair of walkers that after extended wear with the inserts they do get tight on my instep but I think that is more about the swelling I deal with not the ibserts.
