This window hide is my cats favorite place to be. I had to spray it with catnip so he would get in it, but now he gets in without hesitation. The suction cups are super strong and stay where they are while he lays in it. I did clean the glass and suction cups with Rubbing Alcohol before adhering it to the window to make sure the suction cups would work. My only complaint is that it's more for smaller cats. My 10lb cat has no issue getting in and out of it and can turn around. But my 16lb cat who is in the pictures can only go in and lay out. He has trouble getting in and out of it due to his size and cannot turn around. Don't get me wrong, he loves it, but he barely fits. If you have a cat larger than 16lbs, this may not work for you. Either way I give it a 5 out of 5 because my cats love it. It's sturdy, easy to install and my cats love it!

Awesome Bed/Window Perch. Even large cats will figure them out and can turn around. My 4 lb kitten and 10 lb cat both struggled to get into it together. Cats can get into some very small spaces. This bed is large and sturdy. Stuck to my patio window like glue. I used a kitchen chair close to it until they got used to it, then they now can jump from the floor into it just fine. I did take the felt pad out as it made them feel a bit awkward when it would pop up and sometimes fly out when they were getting in and out. They like the feel of the bed with nothing in it at all. It is easy to clean and the cats fight to get to use it. The pictures are of an almost 5 lb kitten in the bed, you can see there is plenty of room for a cat twice as large. Make sure you have the space it takes to put it up. Small glass windows may be too small. Review the measurements before buying. I give this product a 5 star as a cat favorite. I also have the open top version. They are both loved alike.

I can't say anything bad about this product, but I can't say anything good, either, because I can't use it. The problem was 100% my own fault, this is just an urgent reminder to seriously measure your window! My bedroom window is really big and I didn't think about it at all. Problem is, it slides sideweays, so there is no possible way this will ever fit! The suction cups are the things that stick out the farthest, so there's not even a fraction of an inch of allowance--a micron under 27" of smooth glass and you'll be out of luck. Again, nothing against the product, it does clearly state it's 27" and I didn't measure, it's just too bad I'll just never be able to test it out or use it. Prepping for a sad return because I was so looking forward to using this with my kitty who loves to sit in that windowsill. Gave 4 stars because it does look great, everything appears good, I just can't actually confirm for myself that it works.

The media could not be loaded. My kitties LOVE this. It reminds me of the little Japanese hotel pods. One thing I’ve learned with cats is to give things time. If your kitty does not get in it right away, let them work up to it (amazon gives you 30 days to return). I initially purchased this for our french doors that look out to the patio. Unfortunately, I did not measure and the width did not work. I put it up in my bedroom and my cats did not seem interested. I figured this might be due to the height and small ledge. I put some stuff under the window to help them get out and my smaller girl got in it. My boy cat is usually pretty bossy and claims everything, so I was pleasantly surprised that he did not get in. However, about a week later I found his plump butt in it as well. They both share it and enjoy watching the birds. My suggestion is to measure your windows and follow the instructions they send you. You have to boil the suction cups first for adequate suction. Follow what they say and you should not have any issues. Also consider putting something underneath to help them get in and out. Over time I was able to remove everything and they can maneuver it easily now. One thing to keep in mind is the window you choose to put this in you will not be able to completely shut the blinds. This was a little annoying since I had it in my bedroom (best view for birds), but I was able to angle my blinds to feel comfortable at night. Would make a purfect gift for your pets at Christmas or for a friends pet.

Was not large enough for my 10 pond cat. She would not get in it because it felt too confined for her. Would probably be fine for a small cat. Would recommend the “half” model for a larger cat to give them room. Also the suction cups seemed to work well at first, but you need to recheck them every day to be sure they are secure. The item is sturdy and should last a long time if the suction cups last.

I just want to start by saying that I purchased the one with 2 openings knowing that I have a long and slinky cat. Most of the reviews showed pictures of people with adult cats; so I was hopeful this would work. I so wanted to love this and for my cat to love this since he loves sitting and sunbathing in the window.Unfortunately he tried this a couple of times and was in and out immediately. I would say this is because just how narrow the inside of this is. My cat is slender and a lot on the long side and he could fit in this with a foot hanging out or uncomfortably crammed in. The product it's self is made of great quality and I did not have any concerns as to the ability or sturdiness of the item. I think had this been a little wider on the inside it would of been a great fit for my cat.

This is my 3rd K&H window bed & I couldn't be happier. The first two were the open bed style. I gave them to my mom's cats after getting this one. One was over 6 years old & still holding up! The suction cups work very well, I just followed the instructions before installing.Occasionally a suction cup will loosen after time, but the others hold so tight that I don't worry about it falling. I've had 2 cats sit together (25 lbs.), no problem.K&H was the 4th cat window perch I'd tried & the only brand that hasn't failed. I have 3 cats, so I'll likely get another. I love that they offer a couple of bright color options now too. This is the perfect gift for anyone with a cat.
