Makes ice fast
Makes ice fast. This is my second one and when the old one stopped working after 3 years I liked it well enough to buy the same one again.

good machine but stopped making ice
We purchased this last July and it worked up until this week. After a year it decided it does not want to make ice anymore. I have contacted the mfg and received an response of "it's been over a year - no refund of replacement" which I was not asking for. I just wanted some suggestions on what to do.

Multi Functional
I LOVE ice in my water and I could never keep up with the freezer trays. And I drink a lot of water. With this one I have constant ice and refrigerated water! I buy a 4 gallon jug at my local grocery store for $6.00. 1 jug per week. Much more economical then the 4 cases of water I used to buy at $23. 00 a case!

So far so good
Set up was super easy. I bought it for my girlfriend to put in her home salon. Works really well, but admittedly when ice drops into an empty bucket it is really loud. Water coming out the spicket could be a little cooler, but definitely not a deal breaker with the ice tray literally right there beside it.

The best review you'll find!
My refrigerator isn't producing water or ice because of a leak, but still runs cold so I decided to get this instead of the cost repairing or replacing it.Pros:1) It's described as a countertop appliance so it is small enough that it fits under your cabinets (see image #2).2) It produces ice rather quickly (within 6 minutes) so it's always working on filling the ice bin (included) as long as there is continuous water supply.3) It works quietly while producing the ice.4) It has a water dispenser that can be pushed in while not in use and pop out when ready to use with the push of a button.4) It holds up to 5 lbs of ice.5) The ice bin can be removed for dumping ice into another container.6) Melted ice can be recycled and reused for the next cycle of ice making.7) You can manually add water into the top or remove the ice bin and pour into the bottom.8) It allows you to make three different sizes of ice cubes.Cons:1) Although it is described as a countertop, if you use a bottle on top for water supply, it will block your cabinets (see image #2).2) Although it works quietly (as quiet as an ice maker in a refrigerator), it produces noice when dumping fresh ice into the bin.3) The water dispenser is slow, you have to hold the button approximately 20 seconds per 8 ounces of water.4) Unfortunately it doesn't keep the ice from melting, it melts into the bottom and gets recycled back through the process.5) Due to the ice melting, if you pull the ice bin out to dump into another container, you will likely spill the water. You'll need to tilt the ice bin up so the excess water drains out of the back.6) If adding water manually, it takes a minute to add 16 ounces from the top as it will overflow if adding too much too quickly (doesn't really appear to be designed for this option but it's possible).7) If adding water to the bottom you have to be careful about water accumulated in the ice bin due to Con #4 & 5.8) Doesn't light up the buttons at night.Other things to consider:1) Be sure not to place the machine near appliances that get hot, such as stoves, toaster ovens, etc. It need to breathe in cool, fresh air to work effectively.2) There are other options that allow you to dispense the ice as well as cold & hot water and are priced the same.3) Several reviews complain about the taste of water. Read the directions before using it. As with anything new, you'll need to run some water through the system to get rid of the brand new plastic taste. I would recommend at least a gallon or two (just use tap water so you don't waste money on your bottled water). Unfortunately, too many people don't read the instructions and then complain about their own mistake. You would need to do the same thing with a brand new refrigerator.

Makes ice and chill water both
I have got for water dispenser purpose but it does makes ice and water is cold too. It’s not chilly to not be able to drink it directly but cold enough in summer heat. I have plugged it and jut put the 5 gallon water bottle on top it and that’s jt. Assembling is just like 1-2 mins to start.I just wish that it won’t constantly keep making ice and ad sensor like it bucket has enough ice than it would stop. But other than that it’s very helpful in hot weather. I live in very hot place and this is like a boon. The constant ice making drains water quickly like and I don’t know how it keeps making ice.
