Only a few small flaws
Huge storage area. We were stuck in a downpour for about 4 hours and some of our things did get wet. The piece that sits between the car and the storage that helps keep it from sliding flew off the car somehow but the storage didn't move. Otherwise, it was easy to install and had lots of space so pretty happy overall.

Great price. A lot of room
This is pretty big and can store a lot of stuff. I use it to keep th inside of my van less cramped. Very durable and can store the oddest of things. Very easy to install ontop of the vehicle. Once installed it holds well. Amazing price especially for all the room you get in here smaller ones sell for more then this one cost

Leaked like a seive
This thing is rugged, I don't think I could poke through it if I tried. BUT... it rained twice (once when I did a test pack to make sure I could pack what I needed in it) and a second time during the move. both times there was 2+ inches of water inside. We zippered all the way around and fastened the velcro but that did not help.On the plus size, if your items are in the plastic bins from Walmart or Target, they should be fine. We loaded 4 53 gallon bins as well as a fold-able 6ft table and several other small misc items and it still closed.Fasteners did NOT fit my car and had to pull them inside the car (2019 Nissan Rogue Sport) and close the doors on them but, they held very well all the way from Tx to Ga - 1000 miles.

Big
I loved that it was big so it fit a lot more than I expected. I didn’t like that the straps were hard to adjust. I tied down the ends because I was afraid they wouldn’t hold since the bag was really heavy. However my trip was from Florida to Connecticut so it held up well and it only moved a few inches from its original position on the car roof. I’d buy it again if I had to but it’s so durable that I don’t think I will need to. It is in great condition stored in my trunk. It rained on my trip and everything stayed dry.

Works great
We used on a road trip from Missouri to Nevada and back. It held up well. It is showing signs of wear already but it is still together and worked wonderfully!

More than worth it!
We were traveling 3000 miles with 7 people in a mini van. There was no way we were fitting everything inside. We got it quickly and it was very easy to set up on the top of our van. It fit 2 large duffle bags, 3 backpacks and two other large bags. It stayed on perfectly for the entire drive there (1300 miles) we took it down for a couple days and it was just as easy to put up again. Left it on for the rest of the 1700 miles and no issues! Everything stayed dry and in place. We even cleaned off the bug guts and have it ready for another adventure. Well worth it!!!

Fairly easy to install and holds quite a bit
This travel carrier does install fairly easily, it was durable and held quite a bit. Beware when you're packing it because it will slide a bit. We found that the front portion of the bag needs to be filled with the heaviest items to prevent it from flapping in the wind. Also, we drove through rain and it is not completely water proof. Our luggage did get wet and the interior of the bag left black residue on everything inside.

Really a good one
We ordered one last year which lasted for a year, we'd like to try others, but we finally bought this one again after comparing it with the other one. The zipper is stronger and easy to zip on than the one we wanted to try. Recommend.

Saved my life
Went on a recent camping trip and realized I was going to need more room in the car, looked at roofracks and roof baskets and realized I would need to spend around $900. I purchased this, and it was perfect, kept everything dry on the journey despite torrential rain, was easy to affix, and did not budge during the trip - everyone should have one.

Great value
This bag is great value, used it for a recent drive from Sydney to Qld, we got heavy rain on the way home and the inside of the bag remained dry.Only criticism is that the straps are a bit of a hassle to get tight, would be better if it was built with cam buckle style straps.

Great for roof without rack
I used this bag for both cars with roof racks and without and it worked great. We drove with it for up to 10hr a day and it did great. It even rained on a few of the days and nothing got wet.

Decent cargo bag for short term use
I bought this cargo bag because we were moving from Vancouver to Haida Gwaii (an approximately 18-hour drive north on long highways) and needed extra space for all our stuff. It was definitely big enough and easy to place on top of the car. I did not have a roof rack and needed to attach the straps to the inside of the doors which proved to be a problem because when it rained, the water would drip down the straps and into the inside of my car. Before the trip even began, my car floor was soaked from the rain and since my car was stuffed to the brim with stuff, I couldn't dry it out until we arrived at our destination. During the trip, we encountered a massive rain storm and I had to wrap little socks and cloths around the inside straps so it wouldn't drip on me. When we were going at a higher speed, the rain would mostly fly off the straps and be less of an issue, but as soon as we slowed or stopped it would drip again. The little hooks on the inside of the doors made me very nervous as the drag would pull them outwards and they looked kinda sketchy, but the doors kept them from flying off. When we arrived at our destination three days later, the majority of the stuff in the bag had gotten wet from all the rain that seeped through the zipper.HOWEVER, this bag stayed on top of my car for the whole drive. If you plan on taking a long trip with this bag, here are the lessons I learned:1. Place the bag opening at the back end of the car to avoid any water getting in, or wrap everything in something waterproof or even a tarp (this is what we did when we moved back)2. Make sure you either have a roof rack to properly attach it (we bought one for the trip back to avoid this whole mess) or make sure you won't be in any sort of rainy weather which is hard to predict.3. try to pack the bag on top of the car instead of having to hoist up a very wide, large, and heavy cargo bag.4. Try to pack the cargo bag in a way you can to avoid extra drag, (smaller in the front, bigger in the back type of thing). It definitely affected our overall fuel usage. If you need something that you won't be using very often or once in a while, this is very useful and works just fine! I assume any of the other cargo bag options on Amazon might come with similar issues, so just keep in mind the things I mentioned :)
