Marine VHF Antenna 316 Stainless Steel Adjustable Base Mount for Boats

Used to mount to an antenna to an offroad trailer, I had no problems whatsoever with this. It articulated every way possible, is solidly built, and will probably last as long as the trailer will.FYI, much to my shock and surprise, the threads on these type of mounts are the same as regular ol' PVC threads, which saved me a ton of money. I went down to Home Depot and built a mast for about 10 dollars, as opposed to spending upwards of 80 dollars on fiberglass masts.

Works great, used for Cell booster antenna folds down when nit in use. Locks securely in any position.

Update 10/6/21: Customer service reached out and sent me a new one. The new one worked as intended so I am updating my previous remarks on this product. First one must’ve just been a lemon.1-star: The lock nut that comes on it was impossible to tighten as the correct socket size does not fit in the too-small hole they put around it. After struggling to put a different nut on that I had, both locking mechanisms failed when the boat moved due to vibrations and my antenna collapsed. Trust me, its not worth the stress.

I bought this mount to replace the original flimsy plastic mount on our 2002 Bayliner Cabin Cruiser. I took a gamble hoping that the bolt spacing would be the same as the original so that drilling more holes wouldn't be necessary. I was in luck and the holes matched perfectly! Now that it is installed I am quite satisfied at the looks and quality for the price. The bolt hole spacing is 2 15/16 X 1 7/8.BenM/V Ohana

I have bought these before and installed several times from different mfrs. This item straight out of box failed. The screw and lock but we’re jammed and I could not tighten it up to close enough TTI become locked in place after attaching antenna. But bolt almost seems cross threaded and would not tighten up even after putting in clamp and trying to tighten. I of coarse damaged to unit so won’t be able to return it. Guess I buy elsewhere at higher price.

Had a plastic mount previously. It was painful to see the flex in the plastic one when the antenna was horizontal. This mount should last a long, long time.

Great product worked great on my boat easy to install.

Stainless Steel nylon lock/adjusting nut is un adjustable, it’s incorrect thread for bolt or mfg incorrectly. W/O putting in a vice and damaging unit nut cannot be budged. Makes mount unusable.
