I would give it 10,000 stars if I could! I have been debating on this trap for a few months, the cost is what kept me from purchasing it. Great sturdy design, it’s heavy but it has to be to trap cats. It’s compact and easy to store and carry. There is a video on their website that shows how to set up and take down the trap. I also bought 2 traps that were like butter to set up! Well worth the cost!

I bought this to trap a semi-feral cat that I thought would not go in a regular trap. Within 10 minutes, he was trapped safely, and then moved to a regular trap so he could be transported to a vet for an exam and vaccination. It's probably a bit bigger than I need but when I go to trap multiple cats, that size will come in handy.

It works great! Note that it is just very heavy. When it drops on my wooden deck, it can be very loud and frightening for both the animals and me. It is a great quality product and holds up through bad weather. I am very happy with it. I just ordered the smaller cage, too since I only catch one at a time.

Definitely worth it. It enabled me.to finally catch a feral.cat that eludes other traps for months. Two things - be sure to out the food as close as possible to tje back wall by the weight flap and make sure you have a blanket big enough to cover the trap immediately after catching tje animal. You will also need a transfer trap.with a removable back door.

We trapped 2 cats and had a hard time trapping the 3rd. Took this drop trap the next night and caught the cat within 5 minutes.

Fantastic! I was able to catch Sasquatch the first time out. Ok...not the real Sasquatch...but the feral cat who looked a little like what Sasquatch would look like if he was a cat (which, for all we know, he might be). Anyway, this is a super-duper drop-trap extraordinaire. Only thing is, be careful if trapping little kittens. It is a heavy-duty trap...and it falling on a kitten might cause serious injury. That said, it needs to be somewhat heavy. Sasquatch went berserk when it fell and he might have been able to flip over a lighter-weight trap. Kudos to all of you home-made trap makers out there. I saw some really ingenious and well-crafted designs out there on the internet. But if you're like me and have almost no mechanical skill and/or have more money than time, this Tomahawk trap is a winner!

This is big enough to trap a mom and 7 kittens. If you are planning on trapping 2 or 3 cats at once or a cat does not go inside a box trap get the small one. This one is really big.
