How to wire the Halos not explained in the manual.
A little explanation on how to wire the Halo's.1. The red and black cables are only to power the Halo lamps. They are not needed for the primary high and low beam LED's.2. The red and black cables should be wired to a fused switch, not directly to the battery.3. When wired to a fused switch you do NOT need your phone or the app to turn them on or off..4. When wired to a fused switch they will remember the last settings. That could be a color or a gradient pattern.5. The app is only needed when making changes to the Halo's colors or patterns.6. A quick search for "jeep switch panel" on Amazon will give you some great options for controlling your new Halo's along with any additional lights you add in the future.

headlights perform great, but trying to find app to change halo ...
headlights perform great, but trying to find app to change halo color is a joke. There is no real instructions for installing headlights, they are real plug and play. But the instructions for using the app to change halo color are very hard to understand. Also it doesn't tell you where to find or what the app is called. I found a Barcode on lights Bluetooth, downloaded a Barcode reader to my phone and was able to find the app that the lights required. Long story short I'm still trying to get halo part of light to work with the app to change its color.

Excellent lights, easy installation, and great price. You won't be dissatisfied.
I'll comment on both the product and the installation. The 4 stars is maybe a bit harsh, but I gave it that rating since I since one design change that I think would fundamentally improve the product. First, the lights are super bright. I had already upgraded the stock bulbs on 2015 Jeep Wrangler to aftermarket bulbs to get a brighter and whiter color. They helped, but these LED's are much much brighter and clearer. Every bit has bright and white as I had hoped for.In my box, there weren't instructions, but frankly it didn't matter. These things were totally plug and play. You simply wire the red wire from the controller to your battery +12V and the black wire to ground. The other connections are all connectors that you can't plug in wrong. You plug the keyed connector from the controller to the lead wire harness that goes to the lights. You then plug one of the two leads to each of the lights. Finally you plug the supplied adapter onto the light and plug the other end into your existing headlight cable on each side. The entire install was around 30 minutes or so. It look longer to get the front grill off the jeep to get to the headlights than the actual light installation. Finally, the design change. The halo's on these lights are very cool and controlling them from your phone is a great idea. However, they don't turn off when you turn your lights off. So you can walk away and leave them on. I know some people may want to do that for car shows or something, but others would want them to turn off with their headlights. So simply adding the intelligence to the app and controller to allow a setting which you could choose to control the halo's with the headlight power would be great.Other than that, these lights are everything I expected and more. You won't be dissatisfied.

the lights look great. Completely satisfied with the look and the installation ...
First off, the lights look great. Completely satisfied with the look and the installation was pretty easy. But I do have a few issues with the product.1. The app is terrible. I'm smart enough to figure it out but the app is very laggy. The connection goes in and out on the halos and if you turn them on and get disconnected the lights stay on. So you can't turn them off without being reconnected. Kind of risky at times to me, but I can deal with it.2. When I turn the halos on I can't listen to the radio because of the amount of static. Turn them off and the static goes away. I don't know if the wires need to be shielded or something but if I were running my halos while driving all the time this would get old to me.3. I get a little bit of flicker with the lights. Not enough to be super noticeable but when I was behind a car yesterday I could see the flicker in the reflection. If I were buying the product just for the halos, I would probably not be satisfied. However, I wanted a light upgrade and for the price the lights are pretty good with the added bonus of using halos every now and then.

App doesn't work, so lights stay white.
I've added a lot of lights to my 2014 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited. Along the way, I created my own electrical distribution panel using marine parts. So I was expecting this to be an easy install. It was. II pulled the front grille and replaced the lights in 30 minutes. It took me another 30 minutes to wire in the bluetooth receiver for changing Halo and bulb colors. Since the instructions are minimal, I did not realize that this was also the power supply for the Halos. So I went back and added an inline switch and a 5 A fuse in my distribution pod.2 stars because the lights and Halo are bright. Minus 3 stars because the App is pathetic. It doesn't work at all, other than for me to attempt to set the color to green. Now when my Halos turn on, they flash green for 1/2 second and then glows light blue. The app is the issue. It's not designed specifically for these lights. If you are purchasing these to try to get different colors you are wasting your time.
