My bike sat for a long time so I had to replace the petcock and other gaskets and this worked out well. 4 stars because the screws didn’t come with the washers but other than that it worked out well.

I got this kit in an attempt to repair a leaky petcock on my 2001 Yamaha Kodiak 400. The rubber seals in my old one seemed in decent shape but evidently they had shrunk some with old age. This repair kit did the trick. I rubbed a small amount of silicone grease on them before installation but even then there was a significant increase in effort needed to move the petcock selector between positions after putting the new seals in. Most importantly the leak was gone. The screws that came with this kit were too short to use in my particular petcock, but that wasn't a problem for me since my old screws were in great shape. I assume this kit will fit other models and possibly the screws are correct for some of the other applications.

Seal was thicker than original. This mad it impossible to turn the petcock on. I remedied this with 2 thin washers to space the cover plate for less preload.
