Neither dvd would play on any dvd player.. bluray player or game system we have. Very disappointed. Waste of money

Sent a regional 2 disc to U.S which uses regional 1. Unplayable.

I need to figure out how to return this item. When I try to play it (either one) it says, "out of region". I've never seen anything like this.

It will not play any of the movies!

The DVD I received was in Chinese and i was unable to play on my DVD player complete waste of my money

The DVD would not play, it said something that when I looked it up it meant it was burnt. Not new dvds and will not play!

I expect this double pack of the first two films will be quickly superseded by a triple pack now that the third instalment of the franchise is out, but at time of writing it offers good value.“Dawn” is an origins movie with a tour-de-force performance from Andy Serkis and a worthy kick-start to the series; “Rise” is a post-apocalypse, humans vs. apes scenario which moves the series on very nicely; both films are entertaining and exciting.The DVD releases don`t offer anything in the extras department, but the transfers are good and HOH subtitles in English are available (check your TV screen-ratio to be sure they are visible).Two good movies for a decent price.

Good value double pack, especially at a deal price of a tenner. It contains the both Blu-ray releases in a cardboard slip case. One note if an UltraViolet copy is important to you is that only Dawn provides an UltraViolet copy so you won't get a digital copy for both movies, so one star off for inconsistency and not trying to save shelf space by using slimline cases or even a double case.

My wife and I didn't go to see these films in the cinema, and we are really disappointed that we didn't. The films are beautifully made, great visuals and actors that went above and beyond to research their characters.

I was quite happy about these 2 films as they was good. Not only that the price was quite cheap for 2 films and extras as well. At the price I thought it was going to be rubbish, the first one was the better of the 2.

Traditional family film that we watch religiously. My cousin is definitely a fan of the remake so this purchase absolutely garnered a pleased smile from him.
