Aroy-D Jackfruit in Syrup, 20 Ounce (Pack of 6)

I READ SEVERAL BAD REVIEWS TALKING ABOUT HOW BAD THIS STUFF TASTED. NOT TRUE. THE CANNED IS SLIGHTLY SWEET AND TASTE REALLY GOOD. NOT TOO SWEET AND VERY GOOD FLAVOR. I 12ABOUT ALL KINDS OF COOKING TIME, ONE WAS 12 HOURS WHICH IS NOT TRUE. I CAN'T IMAGINE HOW THIS WILL TASTE AS A MEAT SUBTITUE SINCE IT IS SWEET BUT I AM GOING TO TRY IT. MAYBE THAT IS WHY THEY RECOMMEND BARBBEQUE SAUCE AS IT IS SWEET AS WELL. THE ONLY THING I HAVE AGAINST IT IS THE PRICE. IT IS HARD TO FIND HERE IN BRANSON BUT I THINK I AM GOING TO TRY TO BUY IT AS RAW FRUIT AND FIX IT MYSELF. UPDATE: NOT GOOD AS MEAT SUBSTUTE. WILL KEEP TRYING.

Good quality at a reasonable price and have no source of it where I live .

I ordered a package of 6 cans and every single can was dented when I opened up the box. Very disappointed I was hoping for at least one can not to be dented for a recipe I needed to make for my work pot luck and you can't return this. It's ineligible for returns.

The picture is what you get. It taste quite like freshly picked.

I know how it sounds... but, when you have an allergy to the raw fruit now; this canned option is a lot better for me.

My package arrived swiftly But all 6 of my cans were bent and damaged

This is the only brand of canned jackfruit that I will eat. The fruit in the can is always ripe.
