Cable Isn't Fit For Professional Use
Product literally arrived 5 minutes ago. Plugged it straight into my BMPCC4K and monitor, outputs a signal that shows white dots dancing across the screen. No use at all unless you're looking for a snow effect on your external recorder. Very shocked as my £4.00 HDMI does a better job on this occasion! Smallrig usually is great quality, potentially changed my mind now. Will be returning and hopefully review again with a replacement. Very disappointed.UPDATEReceived a replacement from Amazon, still the same problem. If you have a BMPCC4K & atomos recorder/monitor - do NOT buy this cable as the feed is poor. Returning for a full refund.

Works with SmallHD Focus OLED
I was searching everywhere for a hdmi cable that fits the annoying size required to fit into the SmallHD 5 inch monitor. The one they supplied gave up after less than a year and the official replacement is hard to find, and costs around £20.I took a punt on this, and it works as the original does. Better actually as you've just got one cable running into your camera rather than the smallhd cable which needs to be attached to a hdmi cable too.Smallrig are great aren't they.

Don’t waste your money with ‘heavy duty’ cables
I bought my small rig cable after I realised the very expensive branded coiled cable was too short and heavy for my DJI RSC with my monitor mounted on the handle. The small rig cable is very light, and long enough to mount a monitor anywhere on my gimbal. Since it’s so light and portable I find that I use it even when mounting my camera/monitor on a tripod or my small rig setup.I really wish I didn’t waste so much money with the more expensive branded cables that were not fit for purpose.

Does not work with Blackmagic Pocket 4K and Atomos Shinobi
I had exactly the same experience as Kris Humphreys, who recently posted a review of this cable here. Also using it to connect my BMPCC 4K and Atomos ShinobiThe picture on the field monitor had fine banding and speckles. These remain even if you drop the recording settings to 1080 24P ProRes Proxy... (the camera's lowest quality setting)I can't really understand how this Smallrig cable is not compatible with the Pocket 4K/6K, they are described as supported in the text and there is even a picture of the camera and monitor rigged together. It would be good to get some feedback from Smallrig themselves on this. I will be returning the cable and also posting a question here on Amazon to clarify the issue.

Strong, reliable cable, (and future proof!)
I was quite curious to check out the SmallRig HDMI cables, and they don't disappoint. It doesn't come with any certificate, but I have put it through a number of tests and it always delivers a high-resolution and clean, strong signal. It's great that these are HDMI 2.1 - in a few year's time these will still be great when 8K becomes more commonplace. In the meantime, I use it to connect an HD monitor a Blackmagic Pocket 6K camera, and it works perfectly. Another really good product from SmallRig!
