Good investment.
I know , I know, £92 for a laptop cooler seems insane right?Except it's not really. Don't get me wrong, it's plastic and feels like the markup must be truly something but having spent serious money on a gaming laptop it's hardly really something I was willing to quibble over. Reasons being despite my laptop running at perfectly acceptable temperature, this has the benefit of something most coolers don't...dust filtering. The foam creates a great seal to base of the laptop and can easily be modified to ensure no fan area is blocked off. This was the main reasons for purchasing as I don't particularly want to have to dismantle the laptop every so often to clean it voiding warranty and risking damage each time.Is it loud? Well yes, it can be but I don't run it at max, although in summer months that will likely be the case. Once laptop is on top though it's actually really not too bad at all. It definitely lowers temperature, by about 10-12 degrees Celsius in my limited testing so far, could possibly cool even further at maximum, I've been running at around 70-75%. RGB lighting is a bit awkward to work, I only really spent 10 minutes experimenting as too much RGB isn't really my thing so it's switched off. This cooler is especially ideal for laptops that expell air largely at the back with bottom intakes. For the price, I can see people being put off, but for keeping a gaming laptop cool and dust free, I can't find anything else that can do that. It's sturdy, doesn't feel premium in anyway, which when you first open it you do feel skeptical, but it does do as it says. For a gaming laptop costing upwards of £1500, £92 to ensure longevity and the fact it won't cook the thermal paste so you have to redo every year is by far and worth the outlay in my view. Also it comes with a UK adapter, something earlier models didn't apparently, so no need to worry about getting a 2 pin plug adapter.I've given 5 star's because it does all it claims to, however it's not perfect, a better RGB controller and maybe more premium materials in the base and really it would be perfect and likely help people be more acceptable of the price as people who buy and don't check temperature difference or not really concerned about dust build up, basically the majority who just buy a laptop and accessories without really knowing what's what will likely feel a bit short changed as they will be less aware of the benefits this thing has.Unsure how long it will last, but I will report back if any issues. So have been running more benchmarks and this thing has my CPU and GPU at 74C highest temperature, at three quarters fan speed. That's a Core i7 12700h with a TDP in performance mode of 100W and a RTX 3070TI with a TGP of 150W! No throttling obviously and with these temperatures the CPU and GPU can stay boosted which results in excellent performance.Update - With further testing at maximum and an undervolt on my 3070Ti to 0.870v and in a stress test pulling maximum 150W allowable TDP and temperature reaches only 61C after two hours. That's pretty insane. Performance is improved also over stock as GPU can boost beyond the usual recommended as well within it's comfort zone. Even in summer, add another 10-15 degrees and still well under the 87C threshold where throttling starts to occur. Very impressed, and as laptop cooling solution is paired for GPU and CPU there's the added benefit of CPU temperatures being lessened as well due to more effecient dissipation. Highest maximum on CPU now is 67C in stress testing, real world scenario and it's unlikely either will ever go above 60C, which equates to longevity being potentially a lot longer.
O**.
Very well built, sturdy and allowed me to take full advantage of my laptop.
My CPU and GPU would often thermal throttle due to my CPU and GPU overheating, however this Cooler has significantly improved my performance. It has lowered my GPU temperature by around 15-20c which has allowed me to be able to run Half Life Alyx at Ultra Fidelity in 2k resolution. Before I was only able to run it on medium at 1080p. This has improved my performance in a lot of RTX titles and overall helped to keep my expensive laptop running strong, you simply cannot run into severe thermal throttling issues with this cooler. It's expensive, however it's worth it for the increased performance that this will allow you to take advantage of, it increases the airflow inside your laptop allowing your fans to slow down and cpu, gpu to last longer due to less temperature stress on the chips. It can get a bit loud, however it wasn't as loud as I expected, it won't make your whole room sound like a jet engine.Update: Make sure that you clean the dust filter regularly if you notice temperatures going up. I forgot to do this and thought the fan was failing already. With this cooler I can run Cyberpunk 2077 with the Medium Raytracing prefix at 1440p and I've only got an 8gb card.

Excellent cooling and loud (to be expected)
I have a Lenovo legion 7 5800h (I think) with a 3080 (mobile) GPU. I play a lot of the ElderScrolls Skyrim and it is heavily modded with graphics mods. Before I got this cooling pad the laptop would be going thermonuclear and would reach around 97 degrees centigrade on the CPU and the GPU was fairly toasty to. Having used this laptop cooler the temps have dropped a whopping 20+ degrees. It now hovers around the 74 degrees mark and I’m very happy with that. But let’s address the ‘Elephant in the room’ the noise……yes, it’s loud but you can turn it down. It depends on how well you want it to work. The foam around the base of the laptop in my opinion is great. It helps with cooling and also muffles the fan a bit. The only real complaint I have with this cooling pad is the mains cable isn’t very long which can be annoying. I think the company should have made it a bit longer lol. The cooling pad itself is also quite large and you may find it difficult fitting it into a bag. But apart from those very minor complaints this cooling pad actually DOES cool your laptop. If your worried about the temps of your laptop then buy this. Yes it is VERY expensive for what it is but it is hands down the BEST laptop cooler I’ve ever used. So if your in the market for a cooling pad, just buy this one it’s fantastic.

Works like magic
I was a bit skeptical when I saw this item, searched on YouTube about it and the reviews were promising.Since a game I play is quite heat intensive on my laptop it only seems fair to have the most drastic way to cool it down. It is absolutely amazing.Cools it down to the point where I can happily play without being concerned if will melt itself. Before with a normal cooling pad with 6 fans that was doing what it could I would get 95 degrees at some point where the cpu would thermal throttle. With this, no more thermal throttle. The cpu became with 70 degrees at full clock speeds without any hiccups. The downside for me is zero, I don't care how loud it can be. As long as I can play intensive games. The color adjusting takes a bit to work how I wanted. The USB provided I didn't use, I had my cables that charge everything that needs be.Is a bit heavy the cooler, but would expect it to be.The height has loads of adjustments. For people that don't mind the noise is a fantastic cooler, for people that complain about noise, then search else where..
