I’m black, my shoulder length natural hair looks about 2” long after washing & conditioning (I prefer cream of nature all in 1) Cantu ACTIVATOR is a MUST (3X’s/wk) Cantu leave in conditioner & Cantu Oil Gel is the 💣! This is def 5 ⭐️’s. It doesn’t harden or clump, it shines, no frizz, after initial use, add very little 3X’s/wk & I promise, every day ur curls look better & better, & I don’t sleep with a scarf. I wet my hands about 3 times & run my fingers thru my curls & ur done. It’s also a protective style. I use oils on my scalp, rice water cream. Air dry & ur choice of wide tooth comb or curl brushes to keep ur hair from tangling up or ur ends from curl balling. Not in stores anymore so I hope Amazon keeps this product available.

Gel oil is good in keeping my hair moisturized for several days. I suffer with dry hair and I apply the gel oil sparingly after using my leave-in; this helps to lock in moisture and give my hair some sheen.

I really like this product but I have concerns about some of the ingredients hope they don’t change with more chemical added

I'm still figuring this one out. I have low density and low-med porosity, 2b-2c hair. This gel has a very light hold, makes my hair so super soft, and defines my waves without frizz. It seems like I can never use too much. It never gets heavy or greasy or weighs down my hair. I cannot use it alone if I want any lasting definition. I've ended up using it as a conditioning layer and apply it before my defining gel or mousse of whatever I end up using to style. I will continue to use it since it cuts out so much frizz and helps form curl clumps.

Not greasy and works fast

I couldn't tell you what this is supposed to do. I thought it would be a good hair gel + moisturizer.... um. Idk what it does. It doesn't really gel anything and as far as the moister goes it honestly dries my hair. I had to put other products with it to make sure it didn't dry my hair out. But it does style my hair well. I flat twisted my hair and the next morning it came out really nice. No loose fly away's or frizz. So I guess 3 stars are worthy of it.

I can’t believe how good this product is. Directions are to put on damp hair. I have never used a product that left my hair looking moisturized this well. I put it one after I’ve applied Cantu Conditioning Leave In Conditioner and Aragan oil, and it makes my curls pop and shows defined curls. I have a few hair types on my head; to include 3c, 4b, and 4c.If I sleep in my satin cap I just stand under the shower head with lukewarm to cool water, drench my whole head, shake the curls back into place using my hands to lift at the root a little as I shake (with my head upside-down. Love love love this product. Get you some.

I have used the product for a couple of years and love it. It is no longer available locally or from my usual online vendors. Works well with other Cantu products.Ordered twice as much (6) direct for same total amount direct from seller, 2 days later. Arrived 3 days before Amazon purchase. After return deducts $4.98 of payment, it is not cost effective for me to return.
