Worked great to spread out PAs
Worked great, a little cheap on the threaded ends where you need to re tighten or add threadloc. Sonically they work well and were inexpensive.

Quality Solution
EXACTLY what I needed to cancel unwanted reception and noise from my studio monitors.By purchasing a pair of these I was able to "fully" connect my audio interface (TRS outputs) to the XLR inputs of my powered studio monitors.Note:Consult your interface manual specs page to confirm TRS outputs(Tip Ring Sleeve). This will assures a balanced connection thereby cancelling out unwanted noise and reception. My sessions are so much more enjoyable now.I can now turn my powered monitors back up to a "powered" level without turning up any noise thanks to this purchase. Can't hear any noise but the ultra-low,desirable warm "shush" of the powered monitors when musically inactive.Gives that "studio intermission" vibe during breaks.Makes ya say to yourself:"Yeah...pro cables, pro studio.";)I have to remind myself to turn the monitors off most the time they're so quiet now.The supplied velcro is also good for keeping any excess length tidy tied behind my music desk.Be sure to order 2 of these if you are using them for the same purpose as they are listed in single quantity.NOTE TO ORANGE COUNTY SPEAKER: I inadvertently posted this review to the buyer/seller feedback section. The price was perfect and the cables arrived well packed and in good time! Thanks to Bryan the Owner of OCS!Thanks also for your replies to others questions as this helped me determine that YES,this is the QUALITY SOLUTION for connecting my audio interface/studio monitors.

First use...
Well, I got it, an immediately set up my PA system. It works. No sound degradation I can pinpoint to the cables (my voice? That's another matter....) At any rate, it works, and that all that matters at the moment.

Another perfect example of a super fine product!
I have purchased several cables by Orange County Speaker over the past months, both for my bass guitar playing and my new DJ business. As with my previous purchases, this particular cable exemplifies the amazing craftmanship and superior sound quality that Orange County has achieved. This was my second purchase of the same cable. I use both to connect my 18" subwoofers to my mixing board. I get nothing but perfectly clean sound. That's about the best way I can describe it.These aren't your typical, low grade Chinese imports. It's plainly obvious that no attention to detail was spared in the design and manufacture of the cables. I for one would never consider purchasing a comparable product from Monster or the many other over-priced companies. While Monster and the others have achieved their reputation through expensive and manipulative marketing, Orange County has done so by simply crafting an impecible product.Oh, and if you EVER need customer service - among the best out there - just pick up the phone and call OCS. You won't be hanging up the phone until you get every answer that you're looking for.No, I don't work for OCS. I don't even know any of them personally (which is a shame). And for anyone to post a negative review of any kind about the company or their products, I can only assume they are super uptight, or just have bad luck.

Great solution for active monitors
I was looking for an affordable solution for my audio setup so that I can place the speakers farther apart. My current configuration: DAC with L/R RCA output - two RCA/XLR cables from AQ - one volume controller --- two active speakers with XLR inputs. The setup has worked for years but is way too complicatedand the location of the volume knob was too far away. I wanted something simpler while also removing unnecessary intermediary sources. The old XLR cables from (RCA to XLR) were just 6 in length, and I wanted each to be 25 feet. Buying longer cables from the same (very well known and expensive) brand would make them more expensive than the DAC and the monitors themselves.Solution: DAC output through 6.3mm -- Stereo to L/R breakout - 6.3mm to XLR 25-foot cables X 2.Works wonderfully!Great cables!!!
