Q: I assume this can be used for R-22, R-410A systems ???

If it works at all like nail polish remover it'll work for r-22 and r-401a. I used to get that expensive proflush stuff and it literally is concentrated nail polish remover. Usually you can smell the acetone in that stuff.

I am not sure but I think so. I've used it with the newer type fluid.

Task is needed for cleaning internal components of the vehicles evaporator, condenser, compressor, and A/C lines. One must need more than a little knowledge to perform this task, before sealing unit up, evacuation of a vehicle units, and then charging the A/C with refrigerant. Hope this helps.
