Winch is fine. Removable handle can be aggravating and will likely not last as long as winch.

Personally I don’t like the way the handle clicks into the unit, but it seems to work fine. The hook seems a little larger than my last one, but that could just be me. It’s hard to fit a safety chain into the u-bolt on the boat — but again that could be more my boat hook size - I’m not certain.It seems to have a clutch on it. So you can only get it so tight. But overall it seems to work fine. No issues so far.

It's a solid winch, and operates smoothly. The handle (which has a locking mechanism that you'd think would prevent this) disappeared on the second outing. Only later did I go back and read the reviews that said this was a problem. Good winch, bad engineering on the handle. (Ebay has replacement handles).

I bought this for my trailer which is used with a Yamaha SX210 boat, which is over 4000lbs when loaded with gear/fuel. It easily pulls the boat up onto the trailer. The handle is quick detach, which is a negative for me. I wish it had a bolt on option. I have been removing the handle after each use so that it doesn't fall off when towing.

Great quality and strong. It pulls my boat on the trailer easy. The only thing I don't like is the slop in the handle when your cranking it.

Used it to help pull a car up onto a trailer. Sturdy and easy to use. However, be careful what that like rubs against. If it runs it won’t real the line on the spool evenly. So far it works!

This is a really well made winch that's solid, durable, and really pulls its weight (pun intended).You can definitely use this for more than just on a boat... this winch caught my dad's eye and he said, "Oh! I want that for my 4-wheeler!"... so... I'm sure there are many other things to put this winch on.Currently this boat trailer winch is $45.99 and I would consider this an excellent deal! You won't find any better for this price point.

The media could not be loaded.  I got this manual hand winch by Bravex to install on a stand I made to transfer the sea doo from the trailer to a stand, easily for winter storage in garage. The 800 lbs capacity is more then enough for what I need and acceptable value.The only thing to assemble beside the actual installation is the handle, make sure the little square plate goes over the handle (see picture attached) not behind to prevent damage to the main shaft threads. It holds better this way.In rest all is self explanatory or watch my quick video for more information in regards to hole pattern dimensions. Hope you find it useful.Installation hardware is not included but no big deal as is hard to determine everyone’s installation method. You will need qty. 3 bolts 3/8-16”, lock nuts maybe some washers, the length to be determined before installation.The winch it self is solid and build with fair quality, just found some minor sharp edges around the metal base that I will need to file down and repaint.The spool holding the wire rope may be adapted with a 2” strap if the cable gets damaged.Thanks.
