This is a high quality brushed nickel chandelier, the finish is excellent. It was very well packaged and has enough extra chain and lamp cord to handle any height ceiling or length of swag.The five arms come folded in and need to be gently moved into a circle. A distance of 12.5 inches measured from the outside of one ceramic socket to the outside of the next ceramic socket is perfect to get all five arms properly aligned. Don’t skip this step, the chandelier won’t be level if the arms aren’t evenly spaced. I recommend doing this as the first step.Wiring is the same as wiring any chandelier, my older 2-wire ceiling box doesn’t have a ground so I did clip off the bare silver ground wire. The two included chain links that screw open make the install much easier. My install needed a ceiling swag hook (not included) to get the light over the center of the dining table, there was more than enough chain for this, and the chain is very heavy duty and high quality.The lamp bases are standard E26 medium base, so any standard bulbs will fit. The milk glass lamp shades face up, not down, providing a gentler lighting over the dining table. The glass shades have random swirl designs that are beautiful when illuminated.I used five Feit Electric clear dimmable 40-watt equivalent T14 soft white (2700k) clear glass bulbs, they give off a warm light and dim very well. Those bulbs can be found at the orange apron home improvement store.Recommended, and install is easy if you’ve installed lighting fixtures before and are comfortable doing simple electric wiring while standing on a step ladder.

Super easy to assemble. Very high quality. There's another light out there that looks identical to this one... ONLY GET THIS ONE. It's very durable and the polished bronze color matches my cabinet hardware.. I love my new light

I looked at a similar item at a local lighting store but it was almost $800!!! That was way too expensive for my budget, so I found this look alike for a fraction of the cost. No one would know the difference! The electrician commented on how nice it looks and was impressed by how little I paid. (An electrician was not needed, but part of my home remodel.)

This is so pretty in a bedroom. The photo doesn’t show the milky swirl in the glass that is beautiful, but it’s perfect. Love it!

I'm very pleased with this light fixture. I had a trial and error with ordering fixtures and learned which would fit in my dining space and what design I actually liked. After several orderings and returns with other light fixtures I finally tried this one and I really like it. My partner and I replaced this together. I think one person could do it, although the weight of the lamp hanging while trying to do final touches installation may be awkward. I think the directions could be written better. Overall, I'm still very pleased with the outcome, the lamp shades, and the color.

This replaced a gaudy looking brass fixture and I was very pleased with the quality of the hardware and the length of chain and wire that was included. Install was a breeze, although I do recommend having an extra set of hands. Doing this by youself can be especially hazardous if you are hanging above 9 ft. (Standard room height) I would say that an average person can complete this install in about an hour to an hour and a half.Make sure to open the breaker and DO NOT use a light switch as an electrical isolation. While it SHOULD work, I wouldn't risk it. I also recommend checking the fixture dead using a multimeter - just to be sure.Additionally, you should take the opportunity to check that your electrical box is properly grounded, just in case a hot wire makes contact with it followinf installation. This will reduce the chance of someone receiving an electrical shock due to damaged wiring.Finally, before you install, make sure your box can support the weight of this fixture. You should be able to easily tell by looking at how the box is attached to your ceiling. If you are unsure, I recommend getting the opinion of a licensed contractor. You do not want this dropping on your head!

I had to take some time to fold out all the arms and make them all equidistance from each other. This is very important so that the chandelier looks nice and hangs straight down. After installing, it looks absolutely beautiful! It replaces a very drab light fixture in my dining room and it really enhances the room. I love it.

The light is well made and was easy to install. Took me and my husband just about an hour to take down old fixture and put up this one. It matches my island pendent fixtures perfectly. I'm very happy with this fixture. It's not big and massive but perfect for my space. It was packaged very well and everything fit perfectly. All parts were there.
