HJC 824-584 CL-17 Full-Face Motorcycle Helmet (Matte Anthracite, Large)

I've been using this helmet for almost a year now, and I have to say I am very pleased with it. The fit is excellent. I love the pinlock ready visor, and the quick change visor attachment is brilliant! Make sure you get a tinted visor as well, as they're cheap. Airflow through the vents is excellent for this price level. I feel very, very well protected wearing this helmet back and forth to work everyday. The only issues I have with it is that I would've preferred a quick release chinstrap instead of the d rings, and there are times I wish it was my old modular helmet with the flip up chin bar - but that's a personal situational issue, not a negative mark for the CL-17. Buy it - you won't be sorry.

Good comfortable helmet. My only issue is the distortion in the visor. It's not too bad but it is there. I have a CS 12 and it is about the same.

It looks great and isn't too heavy to wear. My only issue with it is that its a bit tight on the cheekbones for people with larger heads but after wearing it for 5 minutes you don't notice it anymore. Good cheap helmet for autocross and other activities.

Good for the price

I have always been satisfied with HJC Helmets and this one did not let me down. The helmet arrived as described, defect free and of high quality workmanship and materials. The vents work as designed and are easy to use. Shield replacement is easily performed and requires no tools. The Matte finish has no scratches or blemishes - the helmet looks amazing. My head size is 23 1/4 - I ordered a Large helmet and it fits perfect. The interior provides a soft snug fit with plenty of protection. This is my 5th HJC helmet to date and I'm sure it will not be my last.

Good quality, but very loud! HJC how about you include the chin wind guard with this as standard.

Helmets are very expensive. I strongly believe that this helmet can be sold for much more than what it's sold for. bought this last year and nothing but good things to say about it. The helmet fits very snug even after a year of wear. I bought the medium and im an average 5'9'' male 160lb. if worried the medium will be too small, i also bought the large for a second helmet and the large fits great as well. I like a snug fit personally so the medium is my preference. Not much noise unless riding the highway.

A Christmas Gift for my son and he is thrilled with it. Says helmet is a great fit and comfortable. Even bought a dark tinted visor for it as well.Item arrived on time and well packaged.
