Good all-around fertilizer for flowering landscape plants.
I have used these with my plumeria, desert roses, vincas, fig tree, hibiscus, and bouganvillia. It has worked well for each of them. Now all we need is some rain.

Personal anecdote, but we had TONS of tomatoes...
Disclaimer: I'm an amateur gardener at best, and I believe I put these in several weeks after the recommended time of "right when you plant them", so while I thought my results were fantastic, there's a chance results could be better in your own experience. At one point in the late spring/early summer of 2015 in upstate NY, I realized that while my plants were growing (slowly), there were no fruits/veggies sprouting. I wasn't really worried about the plants since they seemed okay, but I did feel that at least the tomatoes were taking longer than usual to produce so decided to try these out. I believe it took about 2-3 weeks (I will definitely record the time in the future), but the tomato plants had completely taken over the entire garden; last year, they only took over their little area; I'd never experienced anything like this previously, but they were growing out of control (in a good way if you like tomatoes)! We harvested hundreds of tomatoes over the course of the Summer/Fall - we would give them away to coworkers every week, and they tasted the same as they did last year. We did have a lot of tomatoes the prior year, but not nearly this many, and the tomato vines/stalks/leaves hadn't turned themselves into a mini jungle either like they did after I inserted the fertilizer stakes. The cucumbers also showed a significant change from last year. We did place a metal trellis next to them for the first time, so they could latch on to it and grow "up". While I think the trellis had a lot to do with the growth we noted (since they just grew on the ground last year, often overshadowed by other plants), they were several times bigger and also produced a larger number of them over the season, so it doesn't hurt to try these if you're curious.

Caused quick growth
Caused quick growth, including a little mold in my sprout tank. Luckily that lead me to find a mealybug infestation in the sprout tank that had gone unnoticed before.

It saved my dying flowers!
I planted a bunch of flower seeds and they all germianted but the potting soil must have been rubbish because all my flower starters were DYING and turning yellow due to lack of nutrients in the soil. I put these around the perimeter and inside of my flower bed and within just a week the color of the flowers stalks and leaves dramatically changed from pale yellow to dark green! Great product! I had spent about $18 on flower seeds and would have been bummed out to have lost my entire crop.......now it is about a month later and I can see formation of flower heads and in about 2 weeks I will have blooms!BTW - It is basically NPK - I broke the sticks in HALF and spread it around my flower bed. Sometimes too MUCH fertilizer can burn and kill plants especially starters who are still fragile and establishing their stems leaves Even cut in half, it still did a great jobHighly recommended!
