Excellent product
Excellent product. My second unit. First lasted 3 years and then the display went bad. Purchased another because worked well and good value. Only issue is the instructions on how to setup the device for specific battery type is unclear. Took a few readings and experimentation to figure it out. Suggest seller do an update.

Reads about .2V low, making it inaccurate for battery capacity
Update: I’ve purchased a second one of these because i like the form factor and hoped maybe this one would be better. It is not. Compared against two other digital volt meters, the second one as well as the first both read 0.2v low. Returned it and will look for something else.Original:I’ve used this for a little over a year. It is off by about 0.2V. Once you know this, it’s ok. But anyone relying on it for the battery fill gauge or percentage will be grossly misinformed. I’d pay 50% more for something accurate. As it is, I wish I had purchased something else.

Nice for trolling motor batteries
I use this to montory my 24v trolling motor batteries. I use an SAE quick disconnect on my batteries and run an extension up to my dash for this. Works like a CHARM. I can now sit at the helm with my trolling motor remote and know exactly how much juice I have. I'm not sure I trust the percentage levels, so get familiar with the voltages and you'll be all set. It's nice that it shuts off and doesn't constantly drain. I use a battery maintainer and it doesn't effect the long term charging while plugged in either. It is "designed" to be mounted inside a cutout though. The wires protrude from the back and could easily be broken off. Personally, I was looking for wires to protrude from the side and then I could just 3M the unit to the dash, but that wasn't feasible. I ended up zip-tying it to the bottom of my RAM depth finder bracket and it's been fine.I also added a voltage charge monitor to my cigarette lighter plug for the running battery. The one I used includes 2 USB ports, which is all I use that plug for anyways. They complement each other perfectly and hopefully keeps me safer and better informed.

questionable quality
It certainly gives a decent ballpark reading. The build quality is OK, apart from the wires which are so thin they seem like they might break in anything but a permanent installation.

Flimsy plug very small wires
The plug on the back of the unit project from the rear so clearance is an issue unless you cut a hole. I was able to get this with clearance on a flush service but after minimal fiddling one of the wires detached from the plug. It was working well up to that point, but now I need to order another just to get the wires and plug. Beware of this being very delicate to work with.
