you get amazing results with those poolRx balls. you are guaranteed to not have algae for at least three months in deep summer. just make sure you run the pump during the day like it says on the packaging. chemical use has been reduced to 1/3. you save a little bit (about 10-20%) money when factoring in the actual cost of PoolRx, but you pretty won't have to brush your pool or even clean your filter since there's no algae to filter out. if you hire people to clean your pool, you won't need them anymore because of how little work your pool requires.another huge benefit is, PoolRx does not care if your CYA is over 150 so you won't have to drain the pool to get your CYA down.this is the single most effective pool algaecide on the market at the moment. i've been recommending it to everybody who owns a pool and they are all mindblown.one thing to keep in mind though is, if you do end up cleaning your filter, it is better to clean it instead of backwashing. anytime you lose water, you'll lose the minerals. it'll make you need a booster or replacement unit sooner.
