These is the drain plug to get. This is heavy, high quality steel. It will last longer than your vehicle. it does not strip like those other aluminum plugs that strip on the first oil change and you have to replace them within the year. This is worth the extra money compared to ANY aluminum drain plug. The magnet on this plug is VERY strong as well, unlike the aluminum plug where you can't even tell they are magnets.

Magnet is not secure!
Magnet came out of the plug inside the pan entirely on its own! Ugh. Hopefully stuck to the windage or something. I really don’t want to have to pull the pan off! Don’t buy it.

Works at I had hoped it would. Put into a Dorman transmission pan and have no issues.

It is a drain plug for an oil pan. There’s a magnet at the end. It fits the threads were clean it does exactly what it supposed to do prevent me from leaking out quarts of oil and add a hint more protection because of the magnet. I would not hesitate buying another or get one for my other vehicles. I do wish the copper gasket that goes around the bolt was a little softer metal otherwise the item is nearly perfect and worth it.
